i think this cannot be mere enough     but it is (you know how it is)

and it cracks my heart we are apart though that sounds deceptively

feeble     yet it is true     if i could calculate minuses they would

end in too many pluses so i want to tell you that thinking of what

cannot be is too much for me     and so i set my thoughts fully free  

i do not think them about thee     maybe if i did i could write much

more as pain has much authority     but it is easier this way     it is a

picnic this way     i know you know what it is i do not say     nothing

can sway me to     i cannot say much but i can always stay     i stay

and i write for us both     i know you know this too not just for today   

these african animals are quite noisy and active and they do not freeze in response to danger.
