"Kent I need a favour..." A raspy voice called, bringing the phone closer to his ear.

"What's up?" His best friend questioned, glancing over at the clock to read 5:15 am.

"My brothers wedding, I need a 'date'."

"And how can I help you with that?"

"You can be my date, I'm to lazy to go out and look for one."

"Alright, what time is it at?"

"2 pm today."

"Gosh you give me no time to get ready." The second voice responded, huffing lightly. "Fine, see you later." He finished, hanging up the phone and shoving his head back in his pillow.
This was going to be a long day.

-

Their hands slipped together perfectly, as they arrived at the wedding destination.  It would seem as if the two were getting married themselves, but no far from that.

Of course they both had feelings for eachother, but they were hidden oh so well. If you traveled to the deepest parts of their hearts, you would come across those feelings, concealed near the bottom.

"Ah my baby, he's arrived!" An older, lovelier looking women exclaimed, grabbing the tall boys cheeks and pinching them.

"Mom, mom I get it hi." He shooed her hands away and blushed a light colour of pink. The boy beside him let a small giggle escape his lips.

"Kent, honey dear it's nice to see you again." She engaged the smaller boy in a warm embrace, smiling slightly.

"Hello Mrs Mendoza, it's great to see you to." Kent responded kindly.

"Please, call me Diana." Her bright smile could shine up an entire room. Kent nodded his head not knowing how to respond.
"Drew dear, go socialize, everybody is here!"

"Okay okay, come on Kent." Drew tugged at their hands, pulling the boy towards a group of family members.

-

"Oh my goodness is that our little Drew!" A higher voice questioned, looking straight at Drew. His expression turned to joyful very quickly. Kent glanced up at the older's face, smiling at the happiness that was radiating off him.

"Omi!" He calls, walking over to an elder lady who was smiling greatly. Drew keeps their hands intertwined but reaches down to hug the women.
"Omi, I don't think you've met Kent before. Kent this is my grandma and Omi this is Kent, my best friend." Kent's eyes met the lady's and she smiled even more.

"Kent what a lovely name! You're so cute." She complemented, glancing over at Drew who was staring intently at Kent.

"Thank you very much, it's incredible to finally meet you! Drew talks all about you and how you use to take care of him in Austria." Kent smiled as he hoped to make a good first impression.

"Ah what a kind young man you are. Drew is lucky to have you, and yes all the time. Did you know Drew was the most trouble I've ever had to go through since his father was born! It was like taking care of a rock, so stubborn he was." She spoke, sharing one of many stories.

"Thank you Omi, I think Kent's heard quite enough for now. We must be going, we'll be back later to come talk." Drew blurted, embarrassed at the past memories. Kent couldn't help but chuckle and bid one more goodbye as he was dragged away at the wrist.

-

"She was so nice!" Kent proclaims, smiling brightly.

"Yeah yeah, when she's not sharing horrible stories about me." Drew sighs, looking around the crowded reception.

"I think it's cute." Kent protested, "And I'll be sure to talk to her more before we leave." He smirks.

"Gah what am I going to do with you." Drew mutters, pulling them over to more people.

-

Church bells rung loudly as the proudly wedded couple ran down the aisle hand in hand. It was a beautiful site to see, there was not a dry eye in the room.

The younger male watched the wedding contently, enjoying the love that was spread throughout the room. Kent certainly enjoyed the love that was always to come with Drew's family. It was a nice change, it was nice to see.

Drew on the other hand, sure he watched the wedding, happy as ever for his older brother. But he couldn't help but think endlessly about the boy sat next to him.
He really didn't want to hide his feelings anymore, but of course the fear of rejection will always linger in his body.

-

"Everyone may find their spots, and take a seat." Mrs Mendoza spoke over the speakers, watching people take their seats.

Drew walked side by side with Kent, finding their spot at a table with Drew's parents and grandparents.
Ah this will be great, Kent thought cheekily. He adored Drew's family almost as much as he adored Drew himself.

"Drew, Drew! Tell us how you met Kent." His younger cousin demanded, grinning from ear to ear. She was sat on Drew's lap, continuously smiling at Kent.

"Ah it was quite some time ago." He said, rubbing his chin lightly, seeming to remember.

Drew was sat on the rooftop of their school, fiddling with the pencil in his hand. It was between classes and Drew didn't want to be with all those idiotic jock friends of his.

The door to the roof opened in a rush and a smaller boy entered, looking sad and beaten down.
Drew instantly felt concerned and walked over to the boy.

Kent's eyes widened as he spotted a jock, he wanted to run, but Drew halted him.
"I'm not going to hurt you.... I'm not like them." Drew spoke in a hushed tone, looking straight into Kent's brown eyes.

Although Kent was scarred, he sat down with him and accepted the warm embrace that was being offered.

"That's how we met isn't it?" Drew finished, glancing over for reassurance. Kent nodded getting lost in the blue eyes of his 'best friend'. The eyes he loved so much.

"Awee, you guys are cute together." The young girl gushed, making the two blush.

"Well of course they're cute." Drew's grandma spoke up. "They make an adorable couple." Kent nearly choked on the water he was drinking and Drew had wide eyes.

"Oh n-no we're n-not a couple." Drew admitted flustered. Mrs Mendoza looked shocked and confused.

"But isn't he the one you always-"

"Uh no, we're not together mom." He glared towards her.

"Oh well I am sorry for assuming then deary. You two just look at each other with much love, I can see it." Omi Mendoza shook her head slightly.
"Drew can I speak to you please." She spoke, waving her hand motioning Drew over.

He stood up reluctantly and followed his grandmother into the hallway. Kent looked around sheepishly seeing the little girl still sitting there.
"I know you like him." She giggled, poking Kent's arm.

"How'd you know." He said teasingly. Kent grabbed her waist and started playing around with her cutely.

-

"Drew Mendoza, you like him."

"Omi! I-I do not!" He argued.

"Just ask him out already, he loves you it's quite noticeable. No grandson of mine will be this chicken. I had this same talk with your brother about proposal. Just do it kiddo, life is about taking risks." She encouraged.

"Should I really do this?" Drew mumbled, playing with his slender fingers.

"Yes honey go!" With a light push Drew was out the door and standing a couple feet from the table. His eyes instantly landed on Kent who was entertaining the little girl who started this whole thing. This just made him that much more attractive to Drew, it made his heart flutter at how loving Kent could be.

Drew cleared his throat as he sat back down, Kent looked his way and smiled. "You're back! We didn't miss you, right Riley?" He looked down at Riley who made a disgusted face and giggled placing her head in Kent's neck.

"How rude, here I thought you actually missed me."

"I did, she didn't." Kent whispered, smirking.

"Kent can I talk to you, alone?"

"Yeah sure. Riley we'll be right back, how about you go find Omi." Kent set her down off his lap and she rushed over to her grandma happily.

-

"Kent I really like you." Drew hurriedly said, looking down shamefully.

"You like me?" Kent asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Y-Yeah."

"Good." He smirked

"What?" Drew questioned.

"Cause I like you too, dumby" Kent shrugged, blushing madly. His stare met his shoes rather quickly.

"Stop being so cute." Drew whined grabbing Kent's chin lightly and pressing their lips together.
Kent was shocked but instantly wrapped his arms around the nape of Drew's neck, their noses brushing together every once and awhile as they deepened the kiss.

Drew pulled away after a surprising amount of time, panting slightly. "I am so glad I brought you to this wedding." He huffed, locking the others lips with his once again. They were obsessed with the feeling of each other's lips.

-

The two walked in the reception building once again, their hands still intertwined.
"That's my boy." Drew's Omi said happily as the two sat down smiling cutely.

"Thank you Omi, for helping me." Drew was grateful he admitted.
"I have no doubts about confessing." He smirked, glancing down at his new boyfriend.
Kent looked down shyly, averting the attention. Drew lifted his chin once again and placed a small kiss on his partners lips.
"No looking down pumpkin, just looking up at our new world."
