"Ahem, -------- -----"
The person by the desk calls them by a name, they don't even recognize.

"you're ready to be diagnosed"

Why were they there again?
To get medication 
A task to firmly keep in mind.

"Hi! I'll be checking your health --------!"
They followed the worker who was there just to provide for children or just themself.

A green chair sat in the middle of the room
They sat noticing the dead guy surrounded by dead animals

"What happened there?"

"No one knows, the police believe he was a sacrifice. Never got a good look myself."
The nurse replies putting on an air pump.
"Stay still for me will you."

They nod and watches as the blue pump expands around their arm.  

Soon the nurse finishes after taking their height, blood work, and other necessities. 
"You're all good, now let me go get the doc. I'll be back"

They stepped through the white doors to see a person dressed in white 

"Ah Hello there -------- -----, glad to see you're perfectly healthy. Now follow me."
The doctor moved the clipboard to show a friendly grin.

They walked together side by side.
Seeing people on machines.
On their last strands of life.

Another green chair sat in the middle of the room
There's no windows in this room unlike the other one, that showed life and mysteries outside.

"Gruesome site."
The doctor trails his fingers over the desk. 
The doctor sits across from them
"So, tell me why you are wanting a prescription"

"It would do me some good, I believe I suffer from adhd. Or something like that."

"Okay let's throw some questions to your childhood"
The doctor says throwing his hands as if he just did a magic trick

Some questions are hard to answer
Others are easy

"And with that it seems like you have adhd and or depression. Do you want medication to make you happier or stabilize your time?"

"Stabilize" 
They say with one breath 
Just wanting the meds and getting out.

"So, you're qualified checking all the boxes. Wait a couple weeks and it'll be ready at your local Walgreens." The doctor clears his throat
"You're free to go, unless you have any more questions"
 

"No, thank you"
