Chapter Two: ...I'm Guessing That The Guy With The Sword Pen Is Percy Jackson

POV: Marinette/Ladybug

I slowly opened my eyes, just as the plane was coming to a complete stop.

As soon as I noticed Adrian, my face turned red.

I had fallen asleep on Adrian's shoulder, and he was calmly leaning against me, sound asleep, his hand gently placed on mine in our laps,  his other arm wrapped around my waist.

Just then, Adrian woke up. When he saw the position we were in, his face turned a hot shade of pink and he let go of my waist.

"Please exit your seats, we have now arrived in New York City."

Adrian stood up smiling awkwardly and helping me up, still holding my hand.

I blushed, letting go.

We silently exited the plane, quickly grabbing our luggage before calling a cab.

Once the cab had arrived, Adrian and I were about to get in when something caught my eye.

"What the-?!" I gasped, a flock of all-to-familiar black butterflies flying right past us.

Suddenly, one stopped flying and froze, staring directly at Adrian for a long amount of time before flying off again.

I met Adrian's eyes, and we both were thinking the same thing:

What was that about?

We ran away from the cab and our luggage, heading for the nearest alleyway.

"Ready, Adrian?"

"As ready as you are, M'Lady," Adrian winked. I just laughed at my silly kitty.

"Tikki, spots on!"

Now as the infamous Ladybug and Cat Noir,  me and Adrian jumped from roof to roof, trying to find Percy Jackson  and his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase, before HawkMoth does.

According to Master Fu, Percy spends most of his time at some place called Camp Half-Blood, but he only did that in the summer. During the rest of the year Percy goes to Goode High School, and you can usally find him and Annabeth at the movies or eating ice cream together in the park, and occansionally chasing each other.

Suddenly Cat Noir stopped, pointing south.

"There," He said.

I nodded, using my yoyo to swing from rooftop to rooftop towards the building Cat had pointed at.

As soon as I got there, I saw him.

In the window of the small Goode High School, a teen with messy black hair and sea-green eyes sat in a classroom, looking really bored while fiddling with a beaded necklace that was hanging sloppily around his neck.

"That's  Percy Jackson?" Cat Noir asked, landing swiftly beside me.

"Yes, and do you have a problem with that? Because my boyfriend can and will surely kick your butt," A fierce female voice said behind me.

I turned, brandishing my yoyo.

A teenage girl stood in front of us with a protective stance, her blond curls flying around her face as the afternoon breeze flew past. Her stormy grey eyes glared directly into our souls, making me shutter. She had a backpack slung across her shoulder, her orange t-shirt and faded jeans giving her a calm aura despite the murdurous look she was giving Cat.

The most scary thing about her, though, was the dagger she held in her hand.

"Annabeth Chase," I instantly guessed.

Annabeth tensed, shouldering her backpack nervously.

"How do you know my name?" She demanded. "And what are you two wearing?"

"We know your name because were here to warn you. My name is Ladybug, and you and your boyfriend are in danger."

"And why should I believe that what you are saying is true?"

"Because it is our belief that our arch nemisis, HawkMoth, is after you, and he will stop at nothing to find you two."

"We can handle him," Annabeth said bravely.

"Annabeth, HawkMoth is different then any monsters or gods that you've fought before. He feeds off of your negative emotions uses these things called akumas to turn you evil." Cat said, crossing his arms.

"And you are?" Annabetn quirked an eyebrow, probably thinking about how Cat knows that she's fought monsters before.

"Cat Noir, at your service." Cat did a mock bow, and I rolled my eyes.

I still can't believe that Adrian is Cat Noir.

Annabeth also rolled her eyes, and the look she gave me basically said it all; Boys.

"Why should I believe you?" Annbeth snapped.

"Because-"

Just then, the school bel rang, and teenagers started piling out of the school. When they saw me and Cat Noir, they gawked and instantly brought out their phones, taking photos and filming us.

"It's them! It's really them!"

"It's the famous Paris heroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

"Really?"

"The internet must know this!"

"Awesome!"

I gulped, all eyes on us.

"Annabeth, please listen to us. You are really in danger. You and Percy both,"

"Okay, if you say so."

"I- wait, you believe us?"

"Well, yeah. I mean, if you were  me, then I think that you'd trust two super heroes coming to warn you in person." Annabeth sighed. "Besides, my life is already as crazy as it is. Maybe another adventure will calm me and Percy down."

"Annabeth? What's going on?" Percy asked, pushing himself through the crowd and standing protectivly in front of Annabeth. Percy took a pen out of his pocket, struggling with the cap.

Once he uncapped it, it grew into a huge sword. Everyone laughed, the Mist or whatever it's called making it look like a pen.

"What do you want? " Percy glared. Cat Noir sighed next to me.

"This cat ain't afraid of your toothpick, Percy Jackson," Cat teased. "And were not here to fight, anyhow."

Everyone laughed again.

Percy blinked, slightly confused. "Well, I-"

Annabeth shot him a look that said 'It's fine, I took care of it.'

Percy calmed down a little, capping his sword (how is that even possible?) and putting the pen back in his pocket.

Suddenly, I heard a beep coming from my earrings, telling me that Tikki was losing her energy.

"We need to leave," I whispered to Cat Noir, pointing at my earrings. He nodded.

"Meet us in Central Park in one hour,"

Annabeth nodded, smiling.

"Bug out!" I said, using my yoyo to jump out of the crowd. Cat Noir saluted to the cameras before following me.

As we left, Percy nudged Annabeth.

"What did those two want?"

"Oh, nothing, Seaweed Brain. Just another angry villan coming after us, that's all. "

"Oh." Percy's eyes widened. "OH,"

"Wipe the shock off your face!" Annabeth laughed. "Let's go adventure with some super heroes,"

-0-0-0-

"There they are," I said, pointing at the bench where Annabeth and Percy were sitting.

"Great, let's go." Cat said, but I grabbed his arm.

"One problem; the people."

Apparently the news of our arrival in New York spread like wild fire, and interviewies and new reporters and vloggers raced to get here in time to catch us before we disappeared again. All of them were waiting in the park, talkng to the cameras and shoving mics in Percy and Annabeth's face.

"We can't watlz in and start talking to Percy and Annabeth, or the whole world will know about the gods and our Miraculouses!"

"Oh. Now that's a problem,"

I looked around, suddenly getting an idea.

"Cat, your not camera shy, are you?"

"Seriously? Your going to ask the famous model that?"

"Whatever kitty." I rolled my eyes, despite the grin on my face. "Anyway, heres the plan..."

~Time Skippy Thinga Ma Bobber~

"Hey, LB! They're over here!" Cat Noir yelled from atop the fountian, where he was visable to all eyes.

"Cat Noir, Cat Noir!" Naida Chamack, who had somehow gotten here in the past hour, ran over to him.

"An news on HawkMoth's whereabouts?"

"Is it true that you and Ladybug are in love?"

"What kind of danger are these teens in?"

All the reporters ran towards Cat Noir, and I saw my chance.

Now as Marinette, I came out of my hiding place and tapped Annabeth on the sholder, gesturing for her to follow me.

She followed without a word, dragging a confused Percy along with her.

Once we were out of sight (and earshot), I turned to Annabeth.

"It's me, Ladybug."

Wow, Marinette. Smoooth.

Percy's jaw dropped, and Annabeth calmly closed it, a calm expression on her face.

"I figured as much," Annabeth shrugged. "You look and sound just like her, so..."

Huh. I guess American teens are way less oblivious to the obvious then us Paris teens.

Or maybe that's Annabeth's god side talking.

"We need to talk somewhere different, somewhere less out in the open. Somewhere without cameras or screaming fans following us everywhere,"

"Aw, but I like screaming fans," A voice said from up above, and Cat Noir landed beside me. "M'lady," He did a small bow, smirking.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know that you just love the spotlight, Cover Boy." I rolled my eyes, even though I could feel myself grinning.

Suddenly Cat's ring beeped, and he turned back into Adrian.

Again, Percy's jaw dropped and Annabeth calmly closed it still. The only difference that Annabeth's eyes had widened in a tad bit of surprise, probably because she didn't expect the son of the Aphrodite cabin's favorite fashion designer to be the punny, flirty Cat Noir, hero of Paris and Leo Valdez's idol.

Luckily, Percy and Annabeth hadn't seen Plagg duck into my bag. They can meet the kwamis later, when I can explain in private.

"Anyway," Annabeth said, breaking the silence. "I might just know the place."

Me and Adrian exchanged curious looks.

"And where might that be?" I asked.

"Well, we might have to explain a few things to Chiron first, but you can stay there without 'screaming fans' following you around and also so you can hide your identities  better."

Percy gave her a shocked look.

"You don't mean-?!"

"Yes, Percy," Annabeth smirked. "Let us introduce you heroes to Camp Half-Blood."

A/N I love cliffies. Don't you?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I'll try to update again in the next few days, and if not, it may be a week or two.

Love y'all,

-Tiggs <3
