"Yeah, it's best to start now like all the smart students. It'll help a lot." Yukiko said as she Pachi and Grim got some books from the library and heading back to Ramshackle.

Although it was a day off because of the tournament, Yukiko figured they would get set up for the next few weeks.

Besides, she needed to do some shopping on the way back.

She let Alakazam take the books to the dorm as she headed off to the store.

And lo and behold, Azul was there as well.

"Ah, Miss Yukiko. Scouring for something?" Azul asked.

"Just some grocery shopping before heading home. I already grow my own produce and grains, but I still need to purchase meat." Yukiko said as she looked over some meats.
"And before you ask, I don't eat pokemon."

"I wasn't going to ask that. But I find it interesting your creatures were able to do that. Turning that old wasteland into a lush farm." Azul said cooly.

"If they have the ability, they can do it. And many of them do." Yukiko said as she bought 10 bags of meat.

"If you do not mind, I will help carry some, they do look heavy. I was about done anyway." Azul offered.

"I appreciate the thought, but I have help already." Yukiko said as she brought out Grimmsnarl and Gothetelle who gave Azul a dirty look as they carried bags.

"Fascinating. And these two are...?" Azul observed them as Rotomdex popped up.

"My, they both sound capable don't they?" Azul commented.

"Well, I have to make sure they are in top shape." Yukiko said as she pat Grimmsnarl's hair.

"By the way, have you considered working at Mostro Lounge? Considering you have to keep up with feeding them?"

Yukiko suddenly frowned.

"They are fully capable of taking care of themselves even without my command, but I want you to know something.
You think I have complete subjugation of them. You're wrong. Too many trainers back think the same way but I believe the opposite. It's the pokemon that choose their trainers. And don't think I don't know that you've had your eye on them for some time.
I don't intend to sell them. They are family, and you don't sell family.
Am I clear?" Yukiko said.

Azul was caught off guard by the tongue lashing she gave him, though he composed himself.

"I'll keep that in mind. Apologies. Have a good day." Azul walked off.

Unknown to them, Leona was sleeping nearby, with a smirk.

Least he got to see the octopus get a good tongue lashing.

Azul returned to Octavinelle Dorm as he looked over the proceeds.

"The sales for this year's tournament went up compared to last year's, correct? What a favorable result. But the sales from the Pokemon Cafe was the most profitable. It gained over 57% of the proceeds. Fufu..." Azul said to Jade and Floyd.

Floyd drawled. "But y'know~ It would've been faster if we didn't end up in the bottom for this year's tournament."

"That does not matter.
In the end, the Magical Shift Tournament is but a simple game where people run around chasing after a disc like dogs. The field where we from Octavinelle truly shine is... Yes. The written exams!" Azul exclaimed.

Jade suddenly spoke up. "Azul, the client has contacted us. They will be meeting with us directly in the Lounge tonight."

"Understood. Then, shall we prepare a special welcome for our guest?
Now then, what kind of wish will they make? How truly exciting. Fufufu..." Azul chuckled.

Floyd then sighed out loud. "Boring. I would've want another chance at that oversized machine and rabbit."

"You mean have yourself be beaten by them again? Floyd, it's probably more stronger than you even if you tried." Jade joked earning a look from his brother.

Azul paid them no mind, but he thought back to what Yukiko said.

She was not going to give into him anytime soon.

And that monster named Grim probably would not need his help either. It was thanks to Yukiko he had studied hard and had not went below 85 on his grades. So the plan to use him was out the window.
