Chapter One, Dean Rises

Harley sighed as she looked through yet another book at Bobby's, desperately trying to find something to help Dean, but so far she's found nothing. Nothing except an explanation on the power she holds: that she's a Prophet of the Lord, although the books hadn't told her everything. It was actually Gabriel who had. It's been four months and she was determined to reunite her family: she was at Bobby's alone because Sam had taken off during the night a few hours after burying Dean, leaving her in a Motel all alone, luckily he'd left her Baby as Dean had bequeathed Baby to her. She had tried contacting him, as had Bobby, but Sam wouldn't pick up and then a month after Dean died his phone was disconnected, it was like when he went to college all over again only this time she didn't have Dean and would've been alone if she hadn't moved in with Bobby.

Suddenly her phone rang pulling her from her thoughts, looking to the caller ID she saw that it was Gabriel and thought back to the very first time they met at that College, where they hit it off almost straight away. They had been dating a few weeks until she found out he was behind the attacks, she thought Dean had killed him until he contacted her, telling her he didn't blame her for what happened and that he still cared for her greatly and would see her again soon. Things would've gone well between them as she was developing feelings for him if he hadn't ruined it at the Mystery Spot.

~ Flashback ~

"Harley." A voice said from behind her as she finished packing her belongings while Sam and Dean packed the car, it was a voice she recognised and one that she didn't want to hear from right now. She quickly spun on her heel pulling her gun out of the waistband of her denim shorts and pointed it at him.
"You have a lot of nerve coming here." Harley hissed, as she cocked her gun.
"I'm sorry. I never meant or wanted to hurt you, you're My Rosie." He said, his hands in the air as he took the lolly out of his mouth.
"Oh yeah?" She asked sardonically. "What did you think would happen, watching Dean die over and over again!" She yelled.
"I was angry and petty, and I'm sorry. Just don't shoot me. I will do whatever it takes to make it up to you, I promise. But, first...peace offering." He said, holding out another lolly to her that was still in its wrapper.

"A lolly? Really?" She asked, with an eyebrow raised.
Before he could say anymore they heard Dean calling for her and his feet hitting the metal stairs as he ran towards her.
"Rosie!? Is everything all right?!" Dean shouted.
"Just think about it. Please." He said, as he placed the lolly in her hand and disappeared.
"Are you alright?" Dean asked concerned, seeing the cocked gun in her hand.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay Dean. Can we get out of here?" She asked, as she put the safety back on the gun and put it back into her waistband.
"Of course." Dean said, coming into the room and kissing her forehead. He helped her put the rest of her things in her bag and left the motel for good.

~ End of flashback ~

Harley was brought out of her memories by Bobby's voice calling her from the kitchen and her phone ringing once again.
"Sweetheart, your phone's ringing." Bobby shouted.
"Right. Thanks Bobby." Harley said, before she picked up the phone.

"Hi, Gabe." Harley said, as she answered the phone.
"Hello my little Rose." Gabriel's accented voice came through. "How are you doing? Really?"
Harley sighed, not answering for a moment as she ran a hand through her long, curly blonde hair.
"Honestly; not great. I've seen what Sam's been doing since he ditched me the day we buried Dean. And Dean's in Hell. I want my brothers back, Gabe. I... owww. Shit!" Harley groaned, clutching her forehead in pain.
"Harley? Rose, what's wrong?" Gabriel's worried voice came through the phone. But Harley didn't answer, or rather couldn't answer as she was sucked into a vision.

She dropped her phone to the floor, falling to her knees as she clutched her head in her hands, the room in front of her flickering in and out of focus. There was a clearing in a forest where they had buried Dean, she could see the cross they'd planted over him, the rustling sound like bird's wings filled her ears, as Bobby's living room swam in front of her eyes again before flickering to a new image of Dean's grave cracking open and the eldest Winchester pulling himself out of the hole. Harley let out a gasp as the vision faded, lowering her shaking hands to her lap as she took in a deep breath to calm herself, the ringing in her ears fading just enough for her to hear the tiny sound of Gabriel's voice yelling her name through the phone speaker.

Snatching up her phone, she leapt to her feet with a hurried "I'll call you back!" She hung up the phone, shoving the device into her pocket as she ran for Bobby.

A loud knock on the door sent Harley and Bobby running, the elder male pulling the door open, shielding Harley behind him as they stared up at the form of Dean who sent them a lopsided but apprehensive grin, leaning against the doorframe. Dean settled his eyes on his sister who's identical green eyes were filled with tears.
"Surprise!" He managed to get out before Bobby yanked him roughly into the house and slammed him against an inside wall. "The hell, Bobby? It's me!" Dean yelled, raising his hands in a defensive and placating manner as the elder man pulled out a silver knife and a flask Dean assumed would be full of Holy water. "Can't be too careful." Bobby said lowly, eyeing Dean warily as he looked over at Harley who stepped forward, staring at her brother.

Dean and Harley watched as Bobby quickly ran through the motions, cutting his inner arm with the silver knife and splashing Dean's face with the Holy water before he stepped back, letting the older Winchester go.
"It's good to see you, boy." Bobby said, putting away his knife and flask as he pulled Dean in for a tight hug before releasing him. Dean smiled.
"Yeah, you too." He glanced over at his sister again, who still hadn't spoken, before she lept into his arms hugging her brother tightly, tears still shining in her eyes that finally spilled over.

Dean closed his eyes and held his baby sister as tight as she held him. He had missed her so much the last few months, when they pulled apart he noticed the corner of her lips were curled upwards as she stared at him, her eyes glinting mischievously.
"Nice tramp stamp, Dean." She snickered, covering her mouth as she elbowed his side teasingly.
"Shut up!" Dean growled playfully, kicking her ankle lightly and pulled her into him as ruffled her hair. "Missed you too, you little asshole."
