Marinette's POV
"I'm here." My mother instructed ushering us into my room. "There's the list of things you need to decide."
She handed me a scroll with a wax seal of our crest. I lead Adrien to my round table table.
"Lets get this over with." I sigh slumping into a seat next to him. Pulling out a pen Adrien looked down the list.
"Theme?" Adrien asks looking up from the scroll.
"Masqurade." I wave my hand. "They'll know who I am but that doesn't mean I won't try to escape it."
"Colour theme?" He continues scribbling my request.
"Red and black." I say sitting up petting my pocket where Tikki is napping.
"A ladybug fan are we?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Some what." I muttered. We continued to go back and forth for an hour before Adrien rolled up the scroll and announced.
"We're done!" Thankful we can finnaly leave I stand and drag my feet to the door.
"Princess are you ready to leave?" Aren asks.
"Yeah we can go now." I smile trudging into the limo all my limbs cramping with every strain upon my shins. Adrien and I ploped down in the plush seats and drove back to the hotel.
"We're here princess." Aren said bowing as he opened the door.
"Thank you, please say hi to your daughter for me." I said waving.
"You met Tia?" He asked shutting the door as we got out.
"Yes, she's lovely! You did well." I smiled and waved as the limo pulled away. As Adrien and I trundled through the lobby doors we were met with a group of our class mates.
"So class were getting an exchange student and another new student has been sent here from France." Ms Bustier announced. Two students alkwardly stood next to her. One was a girl with short dark blue hair. She wore a red outfit, and her face had a stern look about it. By her side a tall light blue haired boy with a cute complection stood with his arms crossed. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "This is Luka and Kagami. Ah... Marinette and Adrien! They're going to be staying beside you could you please come help them?" She asked looking up from her clipboard.
"Of course Ma'am Bustier." I smiled and dragged Adrien to them as the other students dispersed. "Hi I'm Marinette..." I said alkwardly leaving of my last name knowing Kagami might recognise me.
"And I'm Adrien Agreste." He introduced beside me.
"And your handcuffed." Luka said pointing at our hands.
"Yes that would be the feisty red head reporter that you want to avoid." I said pointing to Alya's retreating form. "And by her side Nino, he's a DJ."
"And those ones?" He asked pointing to Sabrin and Chloé.
"Sabrina is nice, but don't get on her bad side. Thats Chloé our classes former bully. She's determined and feirce." I chuckle.
"Them?" Kagami asked pointing to a group of boys.
"There you have Ivan, Kim and Max. Ivan's pretty harmless, Max is our tec guy and Kim... Don't get into a truth or dare game with him." Adrien laughed.
"That's the guy that got the princess to jump of the roof!" Luka started tearing and clutching his stomach. "That guys a legend!" He hollered.
"What about you two? You told us your names but nothing else." Kagami pointed out.
"Well, this is Adrien model, loyal friend and caring guy." I slap him on the back. "And I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng, normal girl, normal life." I shrug before realising I said my last name.
"Your Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" Luka gasped. "Didn't you design Jagged stones last album?"
"Thats her." Adrien laughed making me roll my eyes.
"So you two are a thing?" Kagami gestured from Adrien to me. My eyes widened.
"No. No. No." I shook my hands quickly. "This is just a sick prank." I hold up our bound hands.
"Yeah..." Adrien draws out. "So do you wanna go?" The pair nod so we lead them to the elevators.
"So you've got Alya, Nino, Max, Ivan and Kim..." Luka lists. "Wait! Aren't you the cursed class?" He gasps.
"Omg you are!" Kagami grins. "Your the class that keeps getting akumatized!"
"Oh. Ha, ha, ha! Yeah thats us." I smile sheepishly. Theres a beep signaling we're on the right level. "Come on." I say showing them to their room and giving them the keys Ms Bustier gave me.
"If you need anything we're just here." I point to our room.
"Thanks." Luka says throwing me a grin. Huh... I walk with Adrien into our living room.
"To much excitement?" He asks as I flop onto the couch.
"To much..." I sigh closing my eyes.
