Marinette's POV
I was chatting with Alya when someone knocked on the door. We got up and went to the door. I tried to get there first because Alya was convinced she needed to 'anylize' him. Knowing me I tripped over and Alya got there first. I grumbled as I got up and went over to them.
"Hey Mari! Ready to go?" He asked obviously nervous at how Alya glared at him.
"Yeah," I smiled and grabbed my bag. "Where are we going?" I asked as we left.
"Its a surprise." He grinned and grabbed my hand. He pulled me out to the street. We flagged down a taxi. "Okay Mari close your eyes." I nodded and sat there waiting.
"Were are we going?" I giggled.
"Its a surprise!" He laughed. I wiggled in anticipation. Then I felt the car stop. "We're here." I opened my eyes. There was a little cafe over looking a cute little pond.
"Its beautiful." I whispered as we went in. A woman took us to our table.
"D-do you like it?" James asked running his palms down his jeans.
"I love it!" I beamed looking over at the lilys that grew out on the water. I picked up my menu and scanned it.
"What are you gonna get?" He asked looking up from his own menu.
"A chocolate milkshake and... a slice of the chesee cake in the display. What about you?" I put my menu down and put my hands in my lap.
"Its okay I'll order." He stood and went over to the counter. I got up and went over to the ladys rest room. When I came back our food was already there.
"Thanks!" I said taking my seat and having a spoonful of the cheese cake "Mm... this is devine!" It was so thin and fluffy. He smiled and stared at me. I shiffted and he realised what he was doing. I giggled at his embarrassed expression. After eating the amazing food we went for a walk around the pond.
Adrien's POV
They left the hotel and went off in a cab. I called my own. "Follow that car." The driver gave me an odd look and I rolled my eyes. It took about ten minutes then we arrived at a little cafe next to a pond. I went in side and took a seat. I can't believe I'm doing this! I'm a superhero stalking my frined and her date! Damn it Plagg will never leg me live this down. I took a menu and ordered a small tart. I ate it quickly and just watched Mari. She seemed tense. They finnished eating and got up. They walked strait pass me. I walked a good distance from them. They walked for a bit before going back to the hotel I followed close behind. I got back and went upstairs to find them talking in the hall. I walked strait passed and went inside.
Marinette's POV
We had arrived back a the hotel and James had insisted on walking me up.
"Thanks I had heaps on fun today."
"Me too. Do you want to hang out at the same place tomorrow?" I nodded.
"I'm free all tomorrow. So same time?" He nodded and took his leave.
