Adrien's POV
Alya pulled away from Nino bright red. She smirked over at Mari and I.
"Adrien truth or dare?"
"I...uh." I glanced at Marinette she shook her head. "Truth!" Alya's smile flickered but intensified.
"What do you think of Mari?" Marinette facepalmed beside me. Then I started thinking.
Flashback
Marinette siged as I walked out of school. It was pouring rain and she didn't have an umbrella.
"Hi …..i just wanted you to know that I was just trying to take the chewing gum off your seat, I swear…ive never been to school before...I've never had friends its all sort of, new to me." I gave her my umbrella and there was a huge clap of thunder.
"See you tomorrow…" Then I walked off to the limo.
"First day of school and we already have two love Birds." Plagg teased.
"Pfff whatever she’s a friend ..ah…a friend…."
End of Flashback
I kept thinking about it. Is she just a friend? What about ladybug? I mean she kissed me.
"Marinette's a great friend, I told you I like ladybug. At the moment shes confusing me though." Alya seemed a bit disappointed and Nino was giving me a look like 'what the hell?' a few people were glaring. I turned to see Mari gone. I'm really confused. I got up and went back to our room. Marinette was in the bathroom talking to someone.
Marinette's POV
"Truth!" Adrien shouted. Alya looked a bit upset but she stil grinned evily.
"What do you think of Mari?" I facepalmed and gave Alya a 'your dead' look. Adrien was scilent for a few minutes.
"Marinette's a great friend, I told you I like ladybug. At the moment shes confusing me though." A tear escaped and rolled down my cheek. I ran back to the room and locked the bathroom door.
"Tikki," I started crying "why does it still hurt? I've moved on, I like James."
"Oh Marinette. You can't get over someone that easily." She hugged my cheek.
"But I don't like him he ignored my feelings for a year!" I sobbed.
"Marinette think happy thoughts! I can feel hawkmoth." Then I herd someone open the door. They came up to the bathroom and knocked.
"Mari are you in there? Whats wrong?" It was Adrien.
"Yeah I'm here I'm fine." I whipped my face. And went out. He put a hand on my shoulder.
"Are you sure you seem upset." I pushed his hand off my shoulder.
"I need to go talk to someone." I said coldly before storming out. I walked along the hall until I found Ms Bustier's room. She opened the door.
"Hello Marinette, is something wrong?" I shook my head.
"No, I was just wondering if I could have a copy of the schedule." She nodded and gave it to me. "Thank you!" Then I headrd back to my room.
"Hey, Mari we'd you go?" Adrien asked sitting up from the couch. He's been waiting for me.
"Ask Ms Bustier for something." Then I went onto the balcony. I looked it over. I picked up my phone and scrolled through my contacts.
"Hey Marinette." The voice called.
"Hey James," I smiled "I was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow. I'm free from 12 to 3 if its okay."
"Yeah that sounds good. I'll pick you up at 12:30. Which is your room?"
"Room 96. I'll see you tomorrow okay."
"Okay see you Mari." I smiled and went back inside.
