The opening ball. Some would call it a major success, depending on who you asked. Some might not. The evening certainly wasn't perfect for everyone.

The selected have been gathered in the main dining hall for a brunch. The royals eat separately from the selected at this point in the competition, so they won't be seen until later.

Still, there's plenty to do! There's a wide assortment of food to choose from (though the distinct lack of curry seems to be making one head maid visibly upset). The staff is all available and willing to converse. And of course, the other selected are as well! Arriving with Elena for her first public appearance is head alchemist and tutor to selecting royal Raphael is Dr. Delia Quinnston.

Take the down time, you all deserve it.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the brief inactivity, but we're back!

This is (lowkey) a filler chapter, but that doesn't make it any less important! A lot of the interactions thus far have been selected + royal, so we decided it would be beneficial to have a chapter where y'all can interact with other selected and staff while we're grinding out the first newspaper!

If you couldn't already tell lol, we've selected an audition for the Alchemist role! She'll be played by HolyHeckItsAnApple, but don't worry! If you'd like to repurpose your audition, you're more than welcome to submit them as a teacher/tutor/whatever we called them role (or something else if you believe they'd fit better)! Either way, if they're going to be involved in the roleplay, please submit a mini form for them so I can upload them to the appropriate chapter.

There are three tasks each selected must complete during this chapter:
1. Interact in the main chain.
2. Interact (in individual chains) with at least two (2) different selected.
3. Interact (in individual chains) with at least one (1) staff member.

Selected and staff can be found in their corresponding chapters!
