Enveloping Rain

Grey clouds align

like parallel pillars

of factory smoke

I visualize rain

like dotted vectors

descending like arrows flown

I hide my feelings

    deep inside

like a raincoat

    with hidden pockets

tucked away in an attic

     storage box

And as puddles form

    as the clouds unfold

my heart too fills

    to overflowing

Remembrances of the past

    are re-told

and peace rains and fills

    in a future, unknowing
