Aphid Eats

The lowly unpresentable

    aphid eats

As flowers in the

    meadow grow

I walk a lonely

    path of leaves

Detached from trees

    with massive rings

Of many winters

    they have seen

Whose branches stood

    the windy blow

And leaves the lovely

    aphid clings
