A simple girl who lived down the lane,

Like a circus lion I was tamed,

To bring up the family's fame,

My hard work never went in vain,

And I experienced everything but pain. 

Like a creeper that creeps up the cane,

He found his way into my brain,

Befogging me like cocaine,

Emotions bubbled up like champagne,

And I fell in love with him without constrain.

You loved me like there's no tomorrow,

Taking me away from all sorrow,

We stayed together like bow and arrow,

Nestled up like a house sparrow,

In the abodes of Sombrero.

I stood on the roads spellbound,

As you lay lifeless on the ground,

Taking away my heart's sound,

An Inevitable agony surrounds,

As they build your burial mound.

I wish never we never met,

I wish our paths were distinctly set,

I wish I was never your asset,

I wish we never had that bet,

I wish you never left.
