Celestia turned to look it was Severus, "What are you doing here? I thought I told you to leave me alone!" he looked at her, "I know, it was very classy of you leaving the dress and the bracelet behind. Why do you want to run away? What is it that's making you run away? I don't care what my grandmother thinks. I am not getting married to Serena even if she is the last woman on earth! Isn't that enough for you, I am not getting married. What else do you want, just tell me!" Severus pleaded, he just wanted her to tell him the reason why she was so upset. Celestia looked behind him, there was a blizzard outside she gestured him to come inside. He dusted his coat and walked in. The moment he did, Dorothy and Minerva walked towards the door. "What is he doing here?" Dorothy asked as she gave him a disgusted look. "Grandma be nice, Severus...he...he will be staying for dinner."

"We have decided to go out for dinner!" Dorothy said. Celestia looked towards her grandmother, "Its okay, I will make some pasta, you ladies can go on." Dorothy gave out a fake laugh, "If you think I'm letting you stay here with him all alone you are sadly mistaken!" Celestia went to object but Dorothy was having none of it, "Uh uh you may be an adult but for me you are still my granddaughter and him an old geezer!"

Celestia sighed, "Grandma, please If you wish to stay its fine. I will go get that dinner started. Severus would you be kind enough to join me?" Severus gave a curt nod and followed Celestia into the kitchen. Dorothy just gaped at her granddaughters actions. "Celesti..." Minerva stopped her, "Enough Dorothy, she's an adult and Severus may not be the most friendliest person on earth but he's not the worst. Why don't you see that she has made her decision, respect it even if you don't agree with it. It makes her happy so be happy for her!"

"Its what he did to my daughter that scares me Minnie. I can't see her make the same mistake!" Minerva placed her hand on Dorothy's shoulder, "Your daughter fell in love even if you would have tried your best it would not have changed that. And now your granddaughter has similar feelings but this time even Severus has fallen for her. I am very certain of this!" Dorothy shook her head, "I just hope she doesn't get her heart broken, I will not let him go this time, he will pay for it." Minerva smiled, "Oh don't you worry, Come on now show me the new furniture you got from France!"

Mrs.  Prince was sitting in the study drinking firewhiskey. It might have  been her third glass, oh well tonight she wasn't counting. She was worried what Celestia had told her it was turning true, Severus had just left. A few hours before Severus had walked towards the main door with his coat in his hand.
"Severus. Stop right there!" Mrs. Prince walked towards him. "I wish to announce your engagement to Serena join me in the ballroom, Now!" Mrs. Prince walked ahead waiting for Severus to follow but he didn't. "Severus, I hope I made myself clear!"

   Severus stood there, "No, I am not your puppet. All my life I have played by others rules, and where has it got me! I loose everything everytime, but this time I choose to make my decision. I will stand by it. I will not marry Serena or any other witch you choose for me, it was foolish of me to invite Celestia here. Somewhere I thought maybe you would understand after so many years, maybe a slight change but I have never been so wrong in my life. You want the family respect and honour and pride and to make a statement; Well I am done with it. I guess my mother was right when she left. No one can stay here, its not a house its a prison! I am leaving grandmo...Oh My apologizes Mrs. Prince. Enjoy your lavish life and your pride alone in this mansion. I can't stay here any longer. I am going to look for Celestia." with that Severus walked out of the front door. Mrs. Prince felt the earth slip beneath her as he walked out, She told Carina to announce and end the ball and she walked towards the study she asked Bernhard to search for Severus while she waited in the study.

She was engrossed in her thoughts  when the door to the study opened and Bernhard walked in, "Madam, Master  Severus is nowhere to be found." Mrs. Prince looked up, "Did you find where the  girl stays?"

Bernhard  walked towards the desk and placed the address, "She lives in London, Ma'am."  Mrs. Prince took the address.

Celestia was busy in the kitchen she had been ignoring Severus. "You haven't answered my question yet, Celestia." Celestia drained the pot with pasta in the sink and walked towards the stove, she placed it on the flame and added the sauce. She then gave Severus a block of cheese and a grater. "Grate it for me will you!" Severus took the cheese and followed her instructions. Celestia mixed in the pasta then she took the bread and cut them in slices putting them in the toaster, She then drizzled some olive oil and sprinkled some garlic salt on it. She placed the toasted bread in the bread basket and walked towards Severus to take the grated cheese which she added to the pasta, a very generous amount of it. Celestia placed four plates on the counter and started serving pasta in each one. She sprinkled some cheese on top. She gave two plates to Severus while she carried the other two with the bread basket. They placed the plates on the dining table. Celestia called for her grandmother and Minerva. They entered the kitchen and sat at the dinning table. "Well I hope you like the dinner its nothing special." after half an hour of the clatter of forks the meal was done. Dorothy and Minerva went to the sitting area for a nightcap. Celestia decided to wash the dishes. Severus stood next to her, "Are you going to be quiet for the entire evening?" Celestia handed him a cloth and a washed dish. Severus unconsciously started drying it. After all the dishes were done Celestia started to walk towards the door but Severus clasped his hand around her wrist and pulled her towards him, his arm wound up around her waist. He stared right into her eyes and she did the same. Finally she spoke, "Did you tell your grandmother before leaving?" Severus scowled, "Whats your obsession with my grandmother? And to make things clear, I have left the Prince manor. I told my grandmother I didn't want to marry Serena. So I left, to meet you and you have been ignoring me the entire evening. Now say something will you?!" Celestia waited for a while then bent forward and kissed his cheek, Severus pulled back and gave her a confused look. "Are you bipolar or something?" Celestia laughed, "No it's just, thank you for being such a sweetheart and helping out although I still want you to go talk to your grandmother, give her a chance okay?" She said as she placed her hand on his cheek, Severus reluctantly nodded. He then leaned forward to kiss her again and she obliged. Everytime they kissed the time seemed to be halting, nothing around them mattered. He felt that for her, a very deep emotion he hadn't felt before. God what was this woman made of she had completely destroyed Severus' outer strong cover, he gave her a few small pecks before parting. They stood there with their foreheads touching. "Celestia, I real..."

"Ahem-hem." the couple turned towards the voice it was Dorothy, "There is someone here to see the both of you." Celestia walked towards the Living room with Severus behind her. They reached the room to see none other than...Mrs. Prince.
"Severus, Celestia I have come here to apologize for my  behaviour. Severus I am truly sorry for everything I never meant to  intrude in your life decisions. And Celestia you were right I was too  full of my pride to see that my happiness was right in front of me.  Please Severus I have lost my daughter I do not wish to lose my  grandson. Please." Mrs. Prince regretted everything she had done. She  walked towards the couple. Severus and Celestia were both shocked. "It's  Okay Mrs. Prince." Severus said but Patricia stopped him, "Grandmother.  Not Mrs. Prince." She smiled and hugged her grandson. Celestia smiled as she looked at them. Mrs. Prince had tears in her eyes, she was truly  sorry and it was visible.

Patricia got up and walked towards the door, "I should leave I have already ruined everyone's Christmas." Celestia stopped her, "Please don't think like that and you are not leaving, you have to taste the chocolate cake my grandmother makes, its out of the world!" Patricia hesitated for a moment but then Severus also insisted that she should.
Everyone sat there having a chunky piece of chocolate cake.

"So you are Victoria's daughter, now that you have told me I can see the resemblance." Celestia looked at Mrs. Prince. "You have met my mother?"
"Yes I did, Severus had brought her she was a lovely woman. I somewhere felt she would be the one for Severus, Oh but look now you're here. Who would have thought Severus would choose the daughter. But here we are." Dorothy eyed Patricia, "Exactly Mrs. Prince, as you can see your grandson doesn't seem to be interested in people his age! Just like the rest of the male community always interested in the young, the unachievable."

Patricia laughed. "Too right, my husband Mr. Prince was more than twice my age. But when you come from the pureblood family they don't really see the age, all that matters is the lineage remaining pure. But I guess that broke with my daughter. You are a pureblood Celestia like your mother?" Celestia shook her head in negation, "My father was a muggleborn."

"Oh, pity. Anyway I must take your leave I have a pending matter to be looked upon. Take care Severus, and Celestia I hope we get to meet soon. You and I have a lot to discuss." Mrs. Prince walked towards Celestia and hugged her. Celestia was still in shock, after that she left. Dorothy looked towards Severus, "Don't you think its late and you should leave as well!" Celestia looked wide eyed at her grandmother, "Grandma!" She tried to continue but Severus stopped her, "It's alright, I am leaving I had a lovely evening thank you Mrs. Devereux and Headmistress."

Severus and Celestia walked towards the main door, "Im sorry about my grandmother, she will warm up to you. Soon, I promise!" Severus smiled, "Don't worry, my grandmother is convinced yours wont take that long." He took her hand in his and other hand dug into his pocket her removed the silver bracelet that he had given her and clasped it on her wrist.

"It's a gift Celestia, you don't give it away. Its been a long evening do I get a Christmas kiss?" Celestia smiled and leaned forward to kiss him. But...
"You are still here?" Dorothy walked towards the door.

"GRANDMA!!!" Celestia turned around to face Dorothy and Minerva. "Dorothy you really need to learn to shut up, should I remind you about our school days when you use to snog guys in the broom cupboard."
Dorothy faced Minerva and placed her hands on her hips, "Sure and while we are at it shall we talk about your obsession with Professor Dumbledore, Minnie?" Minerva slapped her hand over Dorothy's mouth, "Keep that trap of yours shut!" Celestia looked at Severus who was standing there awkwardly, "I will see you tomorrow Severus." she quickly gave him a kiss while the other two ladies stood there arguing.

Mrs. Prince walked towards the study, "I hope this works," Serena said.
Mrs. Prince looked at her in annoyance, "All thanks to your incompetence I had to take matters into my own hands, That girl is very gullible and where my dear grandson is concerned he wont take that long, I will make sure of it."

Serena walked behind her, "But how Mrs. Prince?" Patricia walked towards the desk and sat in the chair, "You continue with your plan and where my plan is concerned it's simple Serena, I make her break his heart." She flashed Serena a sly smile.
