I shouldn't exist. That's what I always used to think because of how I was made. Basilisks were nearly extinct until The Emperor came along...performing so many experiments on the ones he saved. He wanted to know how we drained magic with next to no effort.

He never found out...at least, I don't think he did.

My name is Number 5...but, just call me Vee. I'm one of the last Basilisk in The Demon Realm...well, I'm not really in the Demon Realm anymore. The Red Guard, when he was a prisoner of Belos too, cared for me. He looked after and made my imprisonment bearable until he finally broke me free alongside a demon named Kiki, a Wild Witch, her Palisman, and her adopted son.

We ended up in the Human Realm, where The Red Guard continued an old family legacy of heroics. Saving the day and punching bad guys! Stuff like that.

I was welcomed into something I never had before...a family. I have a Mom and Moddy now. I have a little nephew. A brother and a close friend. MULTIPLE friends now! I...I even fell in love.

The Demon Realm was where I was born, but The Human Realm is my home...and to protect my family? I'll put up the biggest fight anyone will ever see.
