(Happy Valentines Day! This little drabble is about the Amphibia AU that takes place in the same universe as my most popular story ever! Seriously, I did not think it would do that well-)

Three Stars burning bright came from beyond to expel The Night. They chose to fight, refused to embrace a fall, until Star of Heart lost all. That's how the story of Amphibia's first Three Stars came.

Everyone in Amphibia knows how Heart and Wit fell in love, fighting The Night's darkness side by side. The two were unable to be together in their world, so Amphibia became their new home. Heart or rather, Alice had lost her beloved in their final battle and spent a long time grieving over her and the life they couldn't have. And when Alice passed away, Strength AKA Katherine built The Three Temples dedicated to her friends before she too passed.

But, they didn't die forever. Their spirits reincarnated, much like how the Three Stars before them had reincarnated into them.

Perhaps, it would be a neverending cycle.

Sasha was just floating around in the endless night, glowing pink and in her armor. She had been distraught for what felt like the longest time. Today was Valentines Day, so she wanted Anne and Marcy to have some alone time.

Perhaps, she was just sad that her friends were together and she had no one. Sasha, in truth, didn't know.

She sighed, floating in the air and then putting her arms behind her head, as if she was just relaxing on the beach instead of the sky. "...I should probably stop moping and actually do something."

"I wouldn't call it moping." A voice suddenly said.

Sasha's eyes widened and she shot up, summoning her hammer and whipping around, pointing it forward. "Who's there?!"

But then, floating right in front of her was a woman glowing pink and wearing red and gold battle armor. It had a dark cape around the waist and a golden crown merged with the helmet...a helmet that looked too much like Sasha's during her time as Toad Queen.

Sasha lowered her hammer. "...wait...why do I know you...?"

The woman grabbed her helmet and then took it off...to reveal a rather beautiful adult woman with long glowing pink hair that almost looked similar to FIRE.

Sasha's eyes widened. "Wait...you're Strength! I-I mean Katherine! Or...Nova? AGH! Reincarnations are so confusing!"

Katherine snorted and began to laugh, holding her helmet close. "Yes, it is. But I'm Katherine. Or rather, her ghost, I suppose."

Sasha turned to her. "Lemme guess. Cause of some magic or something, I'm able to see you."

"Essentially yes." Katherine said. "Your past lives thrive inside of you, Sasha Waybright. And now that you know you are a reincarnation, we're able to reveal ourselves to you. Your friends will be able to see their past lives whenever they want to show themselves."

Sasha hummed. "Huh...cool armor by the way."

Katherine giggled. "Thank you. It's the Celestial Armor. I much prefer it over the one I had to use."

Sasha's eyes narrowed. "You mean the one I'm wearing right now?"

"Yes."

"...wow, way to make me feel obsolete." Sasha said before sighing. "So...why have you come out now? I'm not lonely or anything."

Katherine's eyes softened and the two began floating down onto a skyscraper to sit down. She then looked into her glowing pink eyes. "Because I know how you feel."

"What are you talking about...?"

"Your feelings on Anne and Marcy. The reason you came out here." Katherine said. "There is a sense of loneliness, but it's not because you feel like you are without someone..."

Sasha was silent, suddenly looking down at her lap as her glowing pink hair blew in the small breeze.

"It's because the people you have fallen for have already fallen in love with each other." Katherine said.

"...it's that obvious, huh?" Sasha suddenly asked with a sigh. "Okay, yeah. Yeah, I admit it...I've got feelings for Anne or Marcy...probably both the more I think about it."

Katherine's eyes softened. "It's okay to have these feelings, Sasha."

"Is it?" Sasha asked, turning towards her. "Anne and Marcy love each other so, so much...and here I am crushing on them. It's ruining them and ruins our friendship...and on good ol' Valentines Day, the feelings are stronger...even stronger than me."

Katherine chuckled. "Sasha...just because you have these feelings doesn't mean you are a bad person. If anything, the fact that you have these feelings, but are refusing to act on them so they can be happy makes you a good friend."

Sasha then looked down. "I guess that's just all I am then...a good friend...will these feelings ever fade?"

"If they are as strong as you claim, then it's only a possibility." Katherine said.

Sasha sighed. "Great...any advice? You're from medieval times, you gotta be pretty wise."

Katherine snorted a bit. "No, that has always been Ceceila's way of doing things. I have never been much for giving wisdom. Just my view on situations...and if you are asking for that, then I do not know. Because I was in the same situation as you are now."

Sasha's eyes widened and she sat up. "Wait...what?"

Katherine looked up at the starlit sky. "I had also fallen for Cecelia when I met her...it was one of the reasons I was so competitive against Alice. I had wanted Cecelia for myself, even if I never admitted it...but the moment I actually lost to Alice...I started to have feelings for her too."

Sasha just took that in for a moment, now rather eagerly listening to her past life's tale.

"It wasn't even that I had lost my love for Cecelia, but gained even more for Alice...it was so strange. Falling in love with a woman was absurd where I had come from...falling in love with two people at once and wanting them both was even stranger." Katherine said. "I kept my feelings a secret until the very end...even when I was beside Alice's death bed, I couldn't tell her how I felt. It's one of my biggest regrets...because even if Alice's reply would've broken my heart, it would've at least given me closure."

Sasha then scooted closer. "Do they...know now? Have you been able to talk to them?"

"At times...and yes, they know." Katherine said. "I was delightfully surprised. And when you and your friends pass on, the cycle of reincarnation will break and we'll be able to live in an afterlife together...my only advice to give you? Do not wait until it is too late."

Sasha looked to the side. "What if they hate me?"

"They would never hate you for something like this." Katherine said. "Besides...you'll never know the answer if you just assume they will hate you. And even if the answer breaks your heart..."

"...it'll at least give me closure." Sasha said. "Thanks."

Katherine nodded before suddenly, she faded away in a small pink light. Sasha smiled a bit before noticing her armor had changed. It was now Katherine's Celestial Armor.

"...maybe someday." Sasha said as she put on her helmet and then floated into the air. "But not yet."
