You have been in the Odd Squad academy for years. You have been working hard and have gotten straight Os on every test. You wish that one day you may have the chance to be chosen to work at an Odd Squad. Well today might be your lucky day.

"What do you think of her?"
Oscar asked as he showed Ms O a picture of you and showed her your records.

"Hmm she is one smart kid. She has gotten straight Os on all of her tests, she seems very hardworking."

"Should we have her join our squad?" Oscar asked Ms O.

"She's perfect." Ms O said.

"Call Instructor O so he can send her to us." Ms O said.

Oscar nodded and did as he was told.

"Agent Opal, may I have a word with you?" Instructor O asked.

"Oh no, did I fail in one of my tests? I knew I should've studied mo-" You started worrying, but were cut off by Instructor O.

"No. It's not that. Your tests are perfect. Ms O has chosen you to be part of her squad."

Your eyes widened. Your dream has finally come true.

"Really?" You almost squeal.

"Yes, now I need you to go to the tube lobby so I can transfer you." Instructor O said.

Everyone cheered and threw you a farewell party before you left.
After the party you hugged everyone and left.

When you arrived to the headquarters, you were welcomed by Ms O and Oscar.

"Welcome, I'm Ms O and this is Oscar." Ms O said.

"Hey nice to meet you." Oscar waved to you as you entered and shook hands with you.

"Hi I'm Opal." You answered.

"We will find a desk for you, in the meanwhile go ahead and look around the headquarters." Ms O said.

You thanked her and looked around. You saw a girl with brown hair walking up to you. She had a white lab coat so you guessed that she was a scientist like Oscar.

"Hey there I'm Oona welcome."

"Hi Oona I'm Opal" You said.

"Opal, what a nice name." Oona nodded her head as she said it.

"Thanks." You said smiling.

"Well I get better get back to working on my gadgets." Oona said, waving at you before heading back to her lab.

You waved back and kept walking. You walked towards the dinosaur room, having no idea where you were going.

I wonder what's inside this room, You thought as you looked at the door. You open the doorknob and go inside.
What a weird place
You thought.
Then you saw some creepy eyes peeking at you from the bushes.
You gasped as you realized, you weren't alone.

The dinosaurs growled and came out of the bushes.
You shrieked and tripped on a rock, causing you to fall on your back.You shrieked as they came closer.Was this the end?
You squinted your eyes and turned away, shielding yourself with your hands, as if they would help somehow.

You wait for something to happen but nothing does. You open your eyes you noticed that a boy pulled out a gadget. He used the gadget to teleport you guys out of the room.

"Are you crazy? What were you doing in there?" He asked you as he helped you get up.

"Uh......" You were so stunned from what happened that you didn't hear what he was saying.

"Those dinosaurs could've eaten you. Don't do that again." He told you and he walked away.

You were surprised. What happened?

"Opal are you Okay? Otis told me you entered the dinosaur room, you're lucky he got there in time."

Ms O said as she led you to your desk.

"Yeah I'm Okay." You said.

So his name was Otis.

When she gets to your desk, you start walking away.

"Where are you going?" Ms O asked.

"There's something I have to do." You said.

You keep walking until someone greets you when passing by their desk.

"Hi! You must be the new agent, I'm Olympia!" The girl who sat on the desk says. She had auburn hair and glasses.

"Nice to meet you I'm Opal." You said.

As you looked past her shoulders you noticed that same boy who saved you walk to Olympia's desk with files in his hands. You knew they were partners because they had desks in the same table.

As he looked up he recognized you and looked down at his files shyly. You also looked away shyly feeling awkward knowing he caught you looking at him. Olympia noticed the glances between you two.

"You guys already knew each other?" She asked you and Otis.

"I accidentally entered the dinosaur room and he helped me." You said.

Otis nodded and bit his lip.

You noticed he was a quiet person.

When he finished his paperwork he gets up from his desk to turn his paperwork in. You said bye to Olympia and followed him.

"Hey." You said, close behind him.

He did not answer and kept walking, looking down at his paperwork.

You weren't sure whether he was ignoring you or he couldn't hear you. (You decide)

"Hey!"
You said louder as you walked in front of him to catch his attention. He stops walking and turns to you.

"Thanks for helping me back there." You said as you placed your hands on his shoulders.

You blushed for some reason.

"It was nothing." He said as he tried to walk away to continue walking to the file room.

You tried making him talk more by asking questions.

"Soooo... have you been in the squad for long?"

"No. I've only been here for a few months." Otis answered.

As you nodded, he tripped on your foot.

You noticed that he dropped all of his files.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." You said as you bent down to help him pick them up.

Your hands touched Otis' as you both reached for the same pile.

You stared into his eyes, getting lost into them. You never realized how blue they were,

Later he looked back up, you smiled which made him blush.
You leaned your face towards him and placed your hands around his neck. He slowly leaned towards you. You expected a kiss to happen but in your surprise, he leaned over to stand up. He offered his hand to help you and you took it.

"Thanks." He said and took the files you picked up and walked away.

You heavily blushed in awkwardness.

I'm so stupid. Why did I do that? Do I have feelings for him?Did I really expect a kiss from Otis when we just met?

You thought to yourself.

Weeks past by and you got to know everyone in the Squad. You and Otis started becoming good friends.

~Time skip brought to you by Otis' fear of ducks.~

Otis: Hey! I'm not scared of them, I just really hate them! How can anyone like those weird beady eyed demonic looking creatures? *shivers*

Me: *rolls eyes* Whatever. On with the story!

"Opal..." Olympia said.

"Yeah?" You answered as you walked to her.

"Do you like Otis?"

Your gadgets fell out of your hands.

"Huh?" You said.

"C'mon Opal, it's so obvious." Olympia said and laughed.

She helped you pick up your gadgets. You blushed and tried to change the subject.

When he arrived, you got even redder. Olympia knew she was right.

"Olympia, come to my office. I need you to solve a case."

"Um.. shouldn't partners solve cases together?" Olympia asked.

"This case only requires one person now come on." Ms O said as she took Olympia with her.

Great... now you were stuck with Otis... even worse... alone.
You liked hanging out with Otis but you felt awkward after Olympia's comment.

"Wanna hang out?" Otis asked.

"Sure." You shyly said.

"No time!" Ms O said popping out of nowhere.

" Odd Todd released the robot princesses! Agents be careful and do NOT get hit by the lasers. Everyone take out your shields."

You being new and all wasn't prepared with these kind of situations and tried to dodge the attacks. The agents defeated all the robots except one. It shot a laser at you, you didn't notice it.
Otis pushed you to the floor and used his shield to block the attacks.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah." You said.

You blushed. He was on top of you and his lips were only an inch away from yours.

His shield had fallen out of his hand but luckily Olympia defeated the robot.
He stood up and helped you up.

"Sorry about that " He said.

"No... No worries." You stuttered.
When the day ended, you went up to him.

"Thanks Otis, you saved me." You said giving him a hug.

Otis blushed but returned the hug.
Out of the blues, he kissed you.
You were surprised but returned it.
You placed your hands on his shoulders and he placed his on your waist.

The end....

Nah there's still more. Just a little funny extended version of the ending.

The next day Owen arrived early.
He yawned.

"How come security has to arrive before the agents?" He thought as he stretched and rubbed his eyes.

He turned on the cameras to check if everything was going well while they left headquarters.

"Now what do we have here?" Owen said as he saw two people in one of the cameras.

He played the footage and saw them kissing.

"Yuck! This is even worse than finding villains in the squad."

He was about to delete the footage.

"Wait." He said as he zoomed in.

"Is that..... Otis and Opal?"
