Another October holiday is currently in session! Navratri is a Hindu festival/holiday, celebrated in honor of the goddess of power, strength, and protection, Durga. From the 3rd to the 12th, each of the days represents a color and one of Durga's forms and as we are on Oct. 5th, the third day, dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta, is marked by grey. The color represents balance, stability, and the desire for inner peace, helping remove negativity and promote tranquillity in life. That's all I have for Navratri :)

I also feel bad because I missed the chance to mention another holiday from two-three days ago called Rosh Hashana, a Jewish holiday. Rosh Hashana is also the start of the Jewish New Year in which members of the community come together to celebrate along with the sounding of the ram horn called a Shofar.
