Horror-
Night of the Scarecrow (A group of teenagers set free the spirit of a warlock, which possesses a scarecrow. The scarecrow goes on a rampage, killing the descendants of the men who had killed the warlock a century before.)

The Stepfather (After murdering his entire family, a man marries a widow with a teenage daughter in another town and prepares to do it all over again.)

Dark Harvest (A group of teenagers go to an inherited family farm, only to be attacked by a killer scarecrow.)

Halloween Night (A young man who was wrongly convicted of murdering his family in 1982, and admitted into an insane asylum based largely on the fact that Chris had been found at home with the bodies by the police. After 10 years of life in the asylum, Chris has now quite literally turned insane and to prove his innocence, he escapes from the asylum on October 31 to his home)

Comedy-
Hocus Pocus (A teenage boy named Max and his little sister move to Salem, where he struggles to fit in before awakening a trio of diabolical witches that were executed in the 17th century.) 

Ghostbusters (Three parapsychologists forced out of their university funding set up shop as a unique ghost removal service in New York City, attracting frightened yet skeptical customers.)

The Addams Family (1991) (Con artists plan to fleece an eccentric family using an accomplice who claims to be their long-lost uncle.)

Halloweentown (When a young girl living with her secret witch mother learns she too is a witch, she must help her witch grandmother save Halloweentown from evil forces.)

Family Friendly/Children
The Nightmare Before Christmas (Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion.)

The Haunted Mansion (A realtor and his wife and children are summoned to a mansion, which they soon discover is haunted, and while they attempt to escape, he learns an important lesson about the family he has neglected.) 

Hotel Transylvania (Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teenage daughter.)

Coraline (Wandering her old house in her boring new town, Coraline discovers a hidden door to a strangely idealized version of her life. In order to stay in the fantasy, she must make a frighteningly real sacrifice.)
