As previously mentioned in one of my chapters (I don't have enough brain cells to look back to figure it out) Navatri, a nine-long day festival, officially came to an end yesterday on Oct. 12. The final day of Navatri, the festival of Dussehra is a celebration of good over evil, which was achieved by Lord Rama defeating Ravana and Goddess Durga defeating Mahishasura. (Yes, I copy and pasted half of this)

Yom Kippur, the other holiday I so goofily missed, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism. Yom Kippur is also marked by abstention from food and drink, a day of fasting. The sounding of the Shofar is also a very important part of Yom Kipper.

Hopefully, I didn't bore you to death, but well.........
