Influence
-To listen to him speak, his offers, ideas, and orders wrap around other's minds like silk. His words become incredibly appealing, and with it, comes an odd sense of an almost intense need to please his requests. His song is a sweet one. Intoxicating and hazy, more mind numbing the more you listen to it
Intrigue
-Naturally, he catches interest. But looking into his bright blue eyes brings an unending urge to know more, to grow closer, to follow after his ever beck and call for the chance to see what he hides behind those baby blues. To those with weak wills, obsessions become all too real.
Personality
Carlisle is an apathetic man, prideful, charming, dangerous. He lacks the known signs of sympathy, has never known what it's like to suffer, and possibly, because he doesn't know how to feel pain, will never understand whatever he's done could possibly be wrong. His outlook on the world is similar to that of a maniacal child looking down on a hill of ants. He enjoys being the center of attention, demands it almost, as he ploys to make the moment about him. Conceited isn't the right word for his self absorbed nature, rather, it's almost a malicious sort of uplift. He doesn't believe he's the best, no, he believes he's the only one worth the spotlight. Carlisle believes people squander their use on trying to push themselves forward, to make themselves look like they're deserving of the worlds illuminating gaze. But he's the one that feeds, thrives, off of it and has no problem with doing whatever it takes to get it. He's a performer, naturally. So do anticipate a sense of marvel and flare to whatever he does, whether it's a drama, comedy, or simply a straight up tragedy. Expect him to take center stage and give the best damn performance you've ever seen.
Background
Imagine, walking down the street. Breeze flowing through your hair as your strolled about mindlessly. The sun falling over your face, blinding you momentarily as you bumped into another person. You help them up, apologize, as you should, and watch as they invite you for a cup of coffee after a little shameless once over. You accept, as you don't see why not. And over a cup of coffee. You're suddenly struck. It's a simple question. But, you can't answer it.
"What's your name?"
That's how Carlisle came to be. A curiosity. A nobody. A man who popped up out of nowhere and nothing. Wearing a dapper suit that had nothing but a stick of matches and a pack of cigarettes. He was confused. Mystified. Baffled by his own consciousness and existence. And thought it was strange for the woman who found him to ask if he'd like to come home with her until things started to make sense. Such a ditzy broad, he marveled, at letting a strange man simply wander around with her like a curious stray. He charmed his way into her life quickly, never seeking an answer to his sudden reality, learning more about himself through her, how she looked at him like a god the more they spent time together, that he could manipulate her to do as he pleased. She was fun for a while, but he saw no use to her fairly quickly. Their mundane life uninteresting. Filled with her talk of a large house and a baby or four, a white wedding that made his stomach turn at the thought. He brushed off her words as annoying, but genuinely couldn't take the insufferable hopes she had for him. He tried to leave, with no money, no job, no one to even stay with the night. The last thing he expected was to get knocked out before he could even reach the door after ignoring her threats and sobbing pleas. It was a sticky situation, surely, but nothing he saw he couldn't handle with a tad bit more coaxing, a promise to finally marry her as he was tied down to their previously shared bet, and wrapping his newly freed hands around her throat. He finally got his way, and with ease charmed his way through whatever he please. He was an actor for a short time, but very quickly did he learn he couldn't play nice, much less share the spotlight.
So, after wandering into a shady club, he found a different area to vent in as a songbird. Gaining quite a bit of attention for his raw talent, and the mystery surrounding him. After a well aimed bar fight and his clear lack of remorse as he beat the living hell out of a few rowdy gang members who thought messing with him would be fun, he got the attention of a very powerful associate who thought seeing him shine would be worth the power he brought along with it. As of late, they run the club together, his new homebase for his dastardly acts.
Other
His associate, or rather, fellow gang head, is a tough and terrifying man named Vincenzo Marinelli. Known and feared best for his large mob operations all over the cities underground. He keeps the boy on his leash. (Played by Mads Mikkelsen)
The reason his memory had disappeared is still unclear to him. Little does he know that Vincenzo very much made it his business to figure it out. As to why he's only seemed to bury it further and keep it to himself is currently unknown.
The main reason the acting thing fell through was because he may or may not have murdered the movie director. A bad, but satisfying decision on his part.
Because of his condition (CIP), Carlisle cannot feel pain, heat, or cold. He is usually paired up with someone for the day to make sure he doesn't hurt himself by using more strength than he should or burning his damn face with the coffee he loves so much. He tends to be covered in scratches when he's left alone, or accidentally busted lips from biting them while thinking.
He's an interesting unstoppable force. And it's not at all hard to get the man mad, it's an interesting world out there, filled with the powerful and powerless. But with a mind like his, clever and manipulative, paired with the powers he has, it's easy to see how he became such a feared man. A Villain.
Pleasure pleasure pleasure, he drowns himself in it. Seeing as it's the only feeling he can gain from doing anything.
"I just need all eyes on me..."
"Make me. I know you can't."
"I don't tell people to kiss my ass anymore, they seem to enjoy it too much."
A song you'd hear him croon on slow days, more or less the way he sings^^
(Here's my villain to my soon to be hero~)
