Species: Elf

Personality: Lura is a peaceful elf who is very quiet and reserved. She has severe trust issues, and doesn't like to trust anyone but herself. She won't let anyone get the better of her, and always has a comeback for everyone. Her outside is tough and mean at times, but her inside is just a kind, loving, lonely elfling wanting love and kindness back.

Looks:

Flowing, platinum blonde hair with crystal blue eyes. Very tall, fair skin.

Likes: Love, care, adventure, shooting arrows, her brother Legolas (sometimes)

Dislikes: Mean people, her father Thranduil, her brother Legolas (sometimes), evil

Backstory: (stop when the time you want to rp during comes up)
Before the Hobbit: Lura was kept inside the doors of the Mirkwood palace, her father ashamed of a female heir. He didn't want to be reminded of his wife who had died, so he simply forgot about her. Thranduil cut Lura off from the rest of the world, making her almost nonexistent. Many who saw her thought she was the ghost of her dead mother. She took out her anger in weapon practice, being able to wield almost anything, but her bow and daggers are her strongest.

During the Hobbit: Lura did not go with the company of dwarves to the Lonely Mountain, but only met with them when they were locked in her dungeons.

After the Hobbit: Lura spent her days between the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings locked up in the palace once more. She never left, and no one except the dwarves and Bilbo knew of her presence. Not that they paid any attention to her. She was always just there behind Legolas, and they just assumed she was a guard.

During Lord of the Rings: Lura, however, went with the Fellowship of the Ring, sneaking away after her brother when news came in that he was traveling to Rivendell. During the Fellowship, they were able to bring her soft side out, especially the hobbits. They were the ones who made her laugh the most, and she enjoyed spending time with them. Boromir and her bickered all the time, and they got into long arguments, mostly about nothing. Aragorn and Lura had a brother-sister relationship, always looking out for each other, although Legolas was her actual brother. At the beginning, she was pretty closed-mouthed around him, but during the journey she became more open to him. Gandalf was a like a father figure to her, and she took his word without a second glance. She loves the hobbits, and she often protected them by putting her life on the line. They're like her friends when they're traveling, cracking jokes and making her laugh, but in battle, that's when her unused maternal instincts turn on and they're like her children. Pippin and her had the most special relationship though, and he had a huge crush on her. She had no idea how to respond to him, and often hurt his feelings without meaning to. However, she may or may not have loved him back, though she'd never admit to it.

After The Lord Of The Rings: Lura returned home, and stayed there. The rest is up to you.
