BACKSTORY
Nova's life started out fairly similar to her brother. Her father left and so she was left with her mother. Despite their age gap, she and her older brother, Forest, were close and she immediately warmed up to calling him by that name when he began transitioning from female to male. She was often abused by her mother but Forest did his best to stop her from taking most of the hits. When he was emancipated, she spent most of the time at his apartment, more often than not, spending weeks at a time at his place. Depending on her age, she's living with her brother.
