Backstory: Her father died in a car accident when she was five. Her mother tried to pay the bills, keep the lights on, and put food on the table, but being a teacher didn't give her a steady income. She married again to Duran who did provide for them when Autumn was 10. Duran would constantly tell Autumn about loosing a few pounds, how unshapely she was, and how she should hold back on the dessert giving her insecurities at a young age. Autumn didn't tell her mother about it because she had never seen her mother so happy then with Duran. He would touch her unnecessarily and made her very uncomfortable. Her mother, so wrapped up in her new love, threw Autumn off to the side. Duran would romance her mother taking her out to dinners while Autumn was left to make her own meals, clean the house, and put herself to bed.
