Salem is seen laughing and the camera pans to reveal not just Beacon Academy, but the entire town around it on fire. Ruby is seen standing alone, knuckles gripped tight around Crescent Rose. Her eyes are shut, but when they open, the entire screen flashes silver.

We must move on from our

The group is seen sitting around after the fall of Beacon. Each of them remembers something from their time in Beacon. We get to see scenes here like Taigam and Pyrrha stopping outside their dorm, hearing moaning and then going to find somewhere else, or Ruby trying a dish Karen made and her eyes lighting up. The entire time we see the memories, in the background a fire is burning more and more. When we see all of the memories, the flames consume the screen and then shrink, appearing as a fireball in Cinder's hands.

I see the light that shines through

The soldiers and the fallen are all howling

Each member of the group is seen standing alone during where they went in the Fall of Beacon. One by one though, their love interest comes and stands next to them, lacing their hands. Then, everyone is shown looking up at the sky and the stars form silhouettes of people in their life who they've lost.

Hey, we howl!

A table is seen with all of the weapons the group uses to fight. One by one, each of them picks up their weapons and then sets it on their back. They head out of the house they had been staying at, and then they see legions of Grimm. Behind the Grimm are Mercury, Emerald and Cinder, and behind them is Salem, laughing at the scene in front of her.

Now is our time for action

You are gonna be somebody

Each member of the group gets into their fighting pose, and behind them is the silhouette of their parent or mentor figure. For Ruby, we see Summer. For Yang, we see Raven. For Jason, we see Azure, and for Weiss we see Winter as examples.

They'll clear the skies for us

Winter then walks in. She nods approvingly to Weiss, before giving her a proud smile. Winter then gestures. Waves of Atlas gunships begin opening fire, clearing the way for the group

One day we will rise up higher
Until then don't lose your fire
Now to hell with all the liars

Each member of the group fights with their rival. We see fights like Nora and Hazel, Ruby fighting with Emerald, Yang with Mercury, and Blake with Adam. As the fights go on, the camera pans out and reveals all of the characters standing on a chess board, with Salem and Ozpin watching in the background.

Now's our time to shine

As the group continues to fight with their enemies, each of them leap and spin to deliver an attack, and as they do, they leave behind after images of themselves through different stages of their life. For example, Blake protesting the faunas treatment, to holding a sign for the White Fang, to to leaving the train, and then to her fighting with Adam.

Climb a higher wall

Open up your hearts and be a fighter

The group gets knocked down, and we see them helping each other up. This is where we see things like Hercules and Taigam helping each other up, Pyrrha and Nora help each other up, and important character friendships like that. We don't see couples helping each other up since this is meant to emphasize the friendships. Each of them wipe blood from their body and then get ready to go back into the fight.

Times are always changing

They get harder

But we won't give up

The Mothers Club is shown sitting around a table, talking and laughing about their kids. The kids are then shown as kids with big cute smiles, waving around toys and some wooden weapons, clearly having fun. Then, the kids are shown grown up, still in the fights they happen to be in.

We'll outlast the nights

That haunt us

And now

I'm howling out of my soul

Grimm hands are shown coming up and grabbing onto each member of the group. Each of them briefly sees an awful memory they have, such as Weiss being hit by her father, Yang's arm fading, and then Hercules seeing Grace the day she got the cancer diagnosis, things like that. Then, the camera splits between all of them, doing a war cry, and then the hands grabbing them fade away. Their aura flare to life again, and each of them stares down Salem with their war face.
