Backstory: when she was born, a pure white owl flew into the castle and bestowed a surprising, yet wonderful, gift: Princess Diana would always be a friend of the animals. Meaning, she can talk to them and understand them on an emotional level.
When she was 5, she made her first friends, two wolves named Niameth and Naruel. They go everywhere with her, and they always look after her.
As she grew, so did her powers, and on her 18th birthday, the white owl bestowed upon her the title Princess of the Wild.
