Your POV

"They're so cute!" Dan shouts as he walks into the house, picking up the tiny corgi. "What are their names?"

"Her name is Kat," I point to the pup in his arms.

"Really, Y/N? You named her Kat?" I nod. "You're aware she's a dog, right?" I giggle and nod again as he shakes his head in disappointment. "You had one job. What about that one?"

I look down to see the black pug at my feet. I pick him up and stroke his head. "This one is Gerard."

"Really? You should have named this one Frank, not Kat."

"But she's a girl."

"So what? It's better than Kat! And they could be in love."

"Whatever," I roll my eyes as I put Gerard down. "Where's Phil?"

"Said he saw some friends down the street. I'm sure he'll be here soon."

Phil's POV

"She doesn't remember anything?" I nod and she gasps. "That's horrible."

"I know. So just be careful of what you say. She might panic."

"Sure."

I raise my hand and curl it into a fist, then proceed to slam it against the wooden door. The high pitched barks make me smile in memory of the day Y/N and I spent together not too long ago.

The handle turns and the door swings open, revealing a smiling Y/N.

"Phil!" She squeals and jumps into my arms. "Who are these two?" She questions, staring at my- our two old friends.

"Y/N, these are some old friends of ours..."

Your POV

"Y/N, these are some old friends of ours. Kyle-"

The man, Kyle, grins and holds out his hand to shake. "Hello, Y/N." I shake his hand.

"-and Kat." I freeze. Kat?

She screams and throws her arms around me. "I've missed you so much! Phil told me what happened. That really sucks. We used to be best friends. Well, second best friends. You and Phil were closer-"

"Kat, that's enough," Kyle laughs nervously as he puts a hand over Kat's mouth, shutting her up.

"I'm so glad to meet you two... again." I fiddle with my fingers, embarrassed over how awkward I've already made things. "Can I get you guys a drink or something? I made muffins not too long ago." I giggle. "If you want a pistachio one, you better grab one before Dan-"

"You made pistachio muffins?" Dan shouts from the kitchen.

"-finds them," I finish.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Kat asks with a frown. "Because I was really hoping you and-"

"Shut up!" Phil and Kyle both shout. I laugh.

"No, Dan is not my boyfriend, he's Phil's." Phil playfully punches my arm as I chuckle.

Kat sighs. "Will you two ever stop flirting?"
