"How could you have a mother that cared but still feel so dead?"

Y/N's POV:

"I know you have the RK800." Kamski says. I feel my heart drop....he's not going to...

"W-what?" I ask. "You have the RK800, not only that, it seems a certain RK900 has gone deviant." Kamski says.

How did he? He doesn't even work for CyberLife anymore....he shouldn't know anything about this!

"What do you want?" I ask. "I want you to give CyberLife that RK800, it's a machine right?  That's what you told me when you helped me make these androids." He says.

~Flash Back~

"It looks so human." Kamski says. "I told you I was a top notch designer! But remember Kamski! It's only a machine, nothing more, nothing less!" I say.

He turns to look at me, "With your help, we accomplished a lot! You came from a really low past but look where you are now! We could make so much wealth off of this." Kamski smiles.

I smile brightly, "I can't wait to release the first android, we should name it." Kamski says. "Name it? But it's a machine, it doesn't need a name." I say. "Everything needs a name and everything has a name, trees are called trees, grass is called grass, and humans are called....whatever we call each other, androids are no different." Kamski says.

"Alright, lets give it a name." I say. "Why don't you give it a name? You did design it's look." Kamski says. "Really? You'd let me name the first working android?" I ask. "Go ahead." Kamski smiles.

"RT600, register your name." Kamski says. I go in front of the android with a smile lingering on my lips.

"Chloe." I say.

"My name is Chloe."

"That was years ago! I was so much younger!  You can't bring that onto me now!" I say.  "Anyway! What proof do you have?" I add.

"I got a request from CyberLife, they need that RK800, it's for the better of CyberLife." He says. "How is it better?! It's one Android that's out, it's not going to stop anything." I say. "But that's the android that failed its mission, CyberLife needs the android to inspect why it failed." He says.

"Okay....but why are you suspecting I have the RK800?" I ask. "Don't you know? All androids have a implant in them that shows where their location is." He says. "That's how the RK900 found you so quickly." He adds.

But....I was told that once an android goes deviant its tracking implant stops working, why did Connor's work?

"I don't have it! Maybe it was just a mistake, you know I don't want another android after what happened with Blue." I say. "I trust you, but if I find that you do have the RK800....it's illegal to hide androids, especially when a company like CyberLife needs that android back." He says.

"I know, but we both no longer work at CyberLife and...." I gave up on trying to change the subject. There was no way...

"I don't have it Kamski....I promise..." I say. "I fully trust you, you've always been honest with me, I hope you're not choosing an Android over your friend, goodbye." He hangs up the phone.

I put my phone away and look up to the sky.  It's noon already...

How is Connor's implant still working? It shouldn't be...unless he's....

I turn around and go back inside the house. I find the three in the living room, chatting about something.

"Hey guys, sorry it took so long." I say. "What was it about?" Hank asks. "Nothing! Just a call from work, that's all." I lie. I see Connor look at me suspiciously.

"Can I talk to you privately Y/N?" Connor asks.  "Uh, Yea! Sure!" I say. Me and Connor go outside for this talk.

I might as well ask him if he's really deviant, or if he's still trying to accomplish his mission...

Although, Kamski did mention that Connor failed his mission, so wouldn't that mean Connor should stop?

We get outside and I turn to look at Connor.

"What did you talk about?" Connor asks.  "What?" I ask. "You and Kamski, what was it about?" Connor asks.

"Work! He's a close friend of mine and he just wanted to know how my work was going." I say. "He didn't....find me, right?" Connor asks.

I hesitate whether to tell him the truth or not.

"No, you're safe." I say.

Fuck....if I told him the truth, I could've asked why his implant still worked. Damn it...

"So it was nothing? Just a call to check in?" Connor asks. "Yep! Nothing serious, you don't need to worry." I say.

"Alright, sorry for getting to suspicious." Connor says. "It's fine! I understand." I say. "We should head back inside, plus, I'm getting pretty hungry." I say, as we both go back into the house.

I open the church door and go inside. I didn't bring anyone along with me, Connor and Cameron are at Hanks place.

I spot Markus and rush over to him. "Markus!" I call.

He looks up and walks over to me. "Is everything alright?" Markus asks. "I....I need to tell you something about Connor." I say.

We go over to a corner of the room, "What is it?" He asks. "I talked with Kamski, he doesn't know anything about this place though, but he said that he was able to track Connor through his implant..." I say.

Markus looks surprised for a bit, "His implant?  But that's impossible." He says. "He knows Connor is with me, but I told him it might just be a mistake! I don't think you can risk Connor coming here for a while...." I say.

"We can't....did you tell him?" He asks. "No, I wasn't able to, sorry, but I'll tell him at some point and try to keep him away from here." I say. "Thank you for helping us, Y/N." Markus says.

"Oh, right, Kara wanted to talk with you." Markus mentions. "Kara? A-Alright" I say.

I spot Kara with Alice and go over to them. Wait....where's Luther?

"Hi Kara, you wanted to talk with me?" I ask.  She looks up at me and smiles. "Thank god you're safe!" Kara hugs me, I hug her back.

She sits back down with Alice, "Hi Alice." I smile. "Hello Y/N." Alice smiles. "Anyway, what did you want to talk about?" I ask.

"Me and Alice are going to try and cross through the border to Canada, but I heard about the protest going on and heard that you'll be going into the CyberLife Tower, right?" Kara asks. "Yea..." I nod.

"I just wanted to tell you....please be careful! I haven't known you for long but I already feel close to you and I'd hate to lose you, especially when I'm not there to help." Kara says. "I'll try....but I'll have help with me, I'm sure everything will go fine." I smile.

"But....did Luther make it out of Jericho with you two?" I ask. Kara looks down for a second and Alice looks up at me.

"I don't know, he said he'd meet us at the border, I'm just hoping he'll be there." Kara says. I feel my heart break a little, they need Luther...

"I know he'll be there, and you three will cross the border to Canada and finally live....peacefully" I say. "Thank you." Kara smiles.

I feel Alice hug me. "Please be safe Y/N, you're like my older sister..." Alice says. My heart starts to race... an older sister?

I bend down and hug Alice back. "Don't worry about me..." I feel the corner of my eyes tear up.

"I'll be okay." I add. Alice pulls back and looks at me. "Will you visit me in Canada?" Alice asks.

I smile, "Of course..." I say.

"How could I stay away from my little sister?"
