The most powerful fairy to have ever existed is none other than the Fairy Supreme

Validus POV

I'm certain of it now, she's part fairy

We had decided to start by taking a stroll. She had picked a pathway with flowers plants and trees everywhere. She had stopped every once in a while to describe and give a lengthy explanation about a few of her favorite plants or flowers, I didn't think anything of it at first, but then she said something as we kept strolling

'Do you know why I decided to open a flower shop, flowers feel so comforting to me, it feels like nature is a part of me'

The statement had caught me off-guard, I had read that fairies tend to be over protective of nature its beauty and its rules. Natura, the fairy supreme and the very first fairy created by nature was in charge of keeping a balance in nature and upholding its rules. It was said that she had always emphasized feeling a connection to nature, feeling comfort in it.

Eirene was a fairy, this was a problem, a very big problem

"Hey, am I boring you with my flower talk" Eirene asks snapping me out of my thoughts.

I smile at her and shake my head, "No it's fascinating, you know so much about flowers and what they represent it's like you grew up with them or something"

"Well my grandmother always said I was born this way, it didn't make sense to me but then again she always talks to me in cryptic ways so I didn't think much of it" she tells me, her body swaying

I stop walking and she stops as well confused as to why I stopped.

Her grandmother told her that, that's definitely suspicious, I wonder if she's ever only lived with her grandma

"Your grandma, do you live with her right now?" I ask resuming our walk

She looks at me skeptically but replies nonetheless "Um yeah, we've been together for as long as I can remember"

"You've never lived with your parents??"

"Nope, never it's always been just me and my grandma"

"So when did you and your grandma move here??"

She stops walking and looks at me, "How did you know I moved here???"

"It's a lucky guess, you don't seem like you know this place that much for someone that has lived here long enough"

She looks at me and I can notice the uncertainty on her face. 'We moved here 5 years ago, we lived in Anthropos before moving here"

I sigh as we resume walking. She lived with the humans before moving here, Raelynn mentioned that a few days ago when I was at their hangout, why did they move here then

"How long have you and Raelynn been friends"

"Ahhh that rascal, I've known her for 6 years, we first met before I moved here I saw some bully's attacking her and well she hit one of them, it took me by surprise, she was really strong"

"So you haven't noticed anything off about her?"

"No, unless you count the one time she was drunk and kept nuzzling her boyfriends neck, it was very awkward for me" she says smiling

Raelynn must've been very careful around her

"Did you guys have a reason for moving here?? I hear Anthropos is a very nice town to live in"

She shrugs and bends to pick a flower petal from the ground "I don't know the exact reason, my grandma just told us we needed to move, something about us being safer here, she kind of used the flower shop to bribe me, she told me I could have my own flower shop if I agreed" she says fondly

Could her grandmother also be a fairy, then we would have 2 fairies here, that's a problem

"Why did you ask me out on a date?" she says suddenly snapping me out of my thoughts

I look at her confused, "What do you mean why?, I wanted us to hang out"

She scoffs and drops the petal she's holding then keeps walking. "I found it kind of weird when you did, you knew who my friend was, but you waited only a week before you came to my shop, I can understand that one but then you haven't asked me a single question about me personally, I just ranted to you about flowers and you've only been interested in where I had lived, my friendship with Raelynn and other unimportant things, it feels more like you're interrogating me"

She stares at me then sighs and looks behind me before saying "And also, come out please I know you two have been following us"

Confused I turn around to see Lilliana and Crystallo come out of hiding. I stare at Lilliana wondering what she's doing here. "Lily, hey what are you doing here"

She smiles widely at me and replies "Well we haven't seen each other since you moved to the outcast lands and when we did see it wasn't on pleasurable circumstances, you and my boyfriends cousin fought and I said some things I shouldn't have said, but still its good to see you, can I get a hug"

She outstretches her hands signaling me to come in for a hug. But I'm conflicted, I'm here on a what I think is a date with a girl that until a week ago I had no idea she existed and who apparently is a fairy, but I feel a strong sense of attraction and a need I cant explain, so going into another girls arms seem inappropriate, but then again it's Lilliana who's asking for a hug.

I don't engage her in her offer and she frowns for a little before dropping her arms putting on that smiling façade I'm used to back on

"I'm sorry that was insensitive of me, I shouldn't have done that in front  of her, maybe another time you'll give me a hug" she says smiling at Eirene subtly letting her know that next time, she'll ask for a hug and she won't be there to be a reason for me to decline

Eirene looks at her then looks at me and understanding washes over her. "Since he's not asking the important question, I will, why were you following us??" she says now smiling back at Lilliana.

"We weren't following you we just happened to be on the same path as you guys" Crystallo says firmly and I look at her with a look of disappointment at her lame excuse

"We've been walking for about 20 mins and you guys have been keeping your distance whilst walking on the exact same path. I brushed it off when I first noticed and caught on cause you're his sister but then you kept following us, that's not right" Eirene says her tone slightly agitated

Crystallo frowns and I sigh at her facial response to Eirene's outburst.

Oh no, I know that look, Crystallo feels challenged, this is a problem

"Eirene, I'm so sorry about this, I'm sure my sister and her friend were really just coincidentally hanging out around us, either that or there's a perfectly good explanation about this"
  I say trying to diffuse the situation before my sister pulls out im the daughter of Veteris card

"There's a perfectly good explanation you say??, well I'd like to hear it?, because I don't know what you could possibly say that would be a good explanation or better yet an excuse as to why your sister and her friend or your friend are following and stalking us on our date" she says firmly, challenging Crystallo and Lilliana

"There's not-" I begin but im cut off when Crystallo says "Did you know he's the son of King Veteris"

Eirene's eyes widen on hearing that and I groan

Great she did it

"And you're his sister, that must make you two, the royal twins??, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry" she says bowing to Crystallo who smirks satisfied

"Well I take it now you'll understand that I don't need a reason to keep an eye on my brothers safety and wellbeing especially with a stranger we met at a club and whom we have no prior information whatsoever about" she says a hint of sass in her voice.

Eirene doesn't stop bowing but replies "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have addressed you like that, if you'll excuse me, I'll be out of your hair and on my way home"

She raises up her face and looks at me, but her look is no longer friendly, it looks solemn, like she's addressing her boss. "Thank you for the outing, it was an honor" she says bowing before walking away

When she's out of sight Crystallo and Lilliana burst out laughing, and I look at them baffled

"Are you seriously laughing??, first of all that was very unnecessary, you didn't have to do that, secondly, we were on a date for crying out loud and you ruined everything, it was going well too, why one earth were you even following us, why didn't you cloak yourself?!!" I scream at them

Lilliana taken aback at my outburst and looks at me hurt, but Crystallo frowns heavily.

"What exactly are you upset about, that we interrupted your interrogation, or that we interrupted your date?" she asks me bitterly

"You shouldn't even be here in the first place, and worse you brought Lilliana" I tell her

"Well I see no issue in me joining you to watch a fairy who is on our freaking land and is a potential danger to us all and well I thought you'd be happy to see Lily" she replies

"I get you don't like fairies Crystallo but we don't even know is she's dangerous, you cant just tag her one just because of your hatred for fairies"

"It is you that shouldn't be blinded BROTHER, you're the prince of Regnum, your duty is to protect the people as the heir, but what are you doing, frolicking with a fairy you're obviously attracted for reasons which are very unclear to me to when you clearly should've told father about her!!!!"

"I'm not attracted to her, and I was going to tell father about her when I was certain she was a fairy and when I had figured out what her other 3 scents are, if you had not intervened maybe by now I would've known!!"

Crystallo scoffs as if not believing a word I say. "Don't worry I already told father about her, and he's sending people to where she lives to collect her right now, so don't worry brother I've sped things up a bit for you" she says smiling maniacally.

Seething with anger I whisper the word Ripsimo which flings her into a tree

Lilliana shocked looks at me in disbelief before running over to Crystallo as she tries to get up from the ground which she does. She looks at me, anger and hurt evident on her face.

"You're willing to hurt me over some girl you barely know just because you want to protect her, I'm your sister, YOUR BLOOD!!, you'll regret this, PONUS!!"

Almost immediately an immense pain takes over my body which makes me stumble back and fall to the ground, Crystallo had gotten good in spell casting, unlike me who was a trybrid she was just a witch, so whilst I had 3 powers to master she just had 1

"Stop it both of you, you're siblings, you shouldn't let something this trivial make you want to tear each other apart" Lilliana says snapping both of us out of our rage fueled spell casting

I pant trying to regain my strength while Crystallo holds her arms, applying pressure to where she was bleeding

Noticing her blood I scramble to my feet and rush towards her grabbing her arm. She hisses at me and yanks her arm away from my grip

Lilliana noticing this hits her arm and hisses at her

"Don't be stubborn, you know I can heal you, you haven't mastered that spell yet" I tell her grabbing her arm again.

She pouts at me as I close my eyes and whisper the word Sana

Crystallo grunts in pain as her wounds begin to close and heal and the blood on her arm dries up.

I stand up from her close my eyes again and take a deep breath, her spells effect hadn't worn off yet so healing her had taken a big chunk out of me

"When did you learn a pain inflicting spell?" I ask her, noticing Lilliana helping her up from the corner of my eye

"A while back, after the night we went to the club, I thought I might need it to defend ourselves from the fairy, I didn't expect I'd need to use it on you

As I suspected she learnt the spell because of Eirene, she's hell bent on believing she's a dangerous person

"One day Crystallo, I hope you'll realize you were wrong about her and whether or not she was dangerous"  I tell her before walking away

Eirene's POV

"Come onnn pick up Raelynn, you've got some serious explaining to do" I whisper into my phone

I had been trying to call her for the past 10 mins now but she hadn't responded or even called me back, it was weird

Today had been eventful to say the least, first my rescuer crush asked me out on what I and
considered a date but was proven otherwise, and then I find out he's the freaking heir to the throne.

When we had first moved here, I was expecting to see some medieval drama type of shit country because my grandmother had said the country was ruled by a king, but the place was pretty modernized, it wouldn't even seem like they had a king, yeah a few parts of the country were medieval like but it was not what I was expecting

"That would explain the emblem on his clothes, it's on the freaking country's flag, how did I not notice it till now" I scream frustrated

I had never seen pictures of the royal family, I just knew they had 2 kids, twins, and were popularly known as the royal twins.

I was helped by one of them, Validus a member of the royal family asked me to hang out with him.

I laugh hysterically then slap my cheeks furiously as if trying to wake up from a dream

"Oh gosh, im not dreaming, I really did go out with the prince" I tell myself before a strong smell hits my nose

Panic overtakes me as I identify the smell, it was smoke, strong smoke that indicated something was on fire, and the only thing around here that could be on fire was my house.

"Oh No!, the house is on firee!!, Grandma!!!" I scream before running towards the house.

On getting there I see the whole place engulfed in flames. I scream loudly in fear before running into the house to save my grandma

"Grandma, Grandma where are you??!!"

I look around furiously trying to locate my grandmother out of all this smoke but its to no avail. I begin to sob furiously at the thought of losing my grandmother, but hope is restored to me when I hear a heavy thud upstairs.

I quickly dash to my room where it sounded like the sound came from only to be met with a pool of blood outside my door. I scream loudly my hands covering my mouth as I rush to open the door and walk inside

Inside im met with the sight of 5 bodies all dead with blood all over and a beautiful lady with beautiful violet wings and a long flowing purple gown. She looks unharmed and her eyes are seething with anger, but the anger vanishes when she notices me

"Pumpkin, you're safe, thank the heavens" she says reaching out for me but I stumble back and crawl away from her. "Please don't hurt me, leave me alone" I scream at her, and the lady looks at me hurt at my response to her.

"Don't be afraid I would never hurt you" she says trying again to come closer but instead I scream at her which sends her powerfully flying through my room and into my shelf. Seeing this as my opportunity I race downstairs with the hopes of getting away from her but she appears in front od me like a flash before I'm able to get to the front door.

"I forget how powerful you are sometimes sweetheart" she says somewhat amused which confuses me

"What are you??, what have you done to my Grandma!!!!"

She looks at me sorrowfully then says "I knew you wouldn't recognize me but I had hoped my eyes would give me away, chika, its me, your grannie"

"LIESS!!, what did you do to her?!!, did you eat her"

"Why on earth would I eat myself sweetheart, no pressure though, you weren't supposed to see me like this, I had killed those soldiers after I realized they were looking for you and feared you weren't safe, but you're right here, perfectly fine, it's a relief"

"What are you talking about, you mean those men in my room came looking for me?" I ask her disbelief filling my face

She smiles and takes my hands and leads us out of the house which was still burning, on getting outside I immediately snatch from her grasp

"Don't touch me!!"

She sighs and says "Every time you find out about this you never take it too well, you always scream and look at me like I'm some kind of monster when you're just like me, and every time I have to wipe your memory, I feel horrible about it but your grandmother says its in your best interest"

Find out??, find out about what??, wipe my memory?? What on earth is she talking about..

"What do you mean just like you, and my grandmother would never consult with someone like you" I tell her firmly, but she just laughs

"Sweetheart, you're a fairy, you my dear are a direct descendant of the most powerful fairy to have ever existed"

I stare at her in disbelief, she must be joking

"Fairies do not exist" I scream at her but she just laughs in return

"Well I wouldn't expect you to say otherwise, you don't even know that those closest to you are not what they seems" the lady says calmly

How on earth can she be freaking calm, I come home to meet my house on fire, a bunch of men who were supposedly sent after me dead, my grandma missing and a winged creature who killed all those men telling me she's the grandma im looking for whilst also telling me she promised my grandma she'd protect me, and that im a fairy, I must still be dreaming

"You're not dreaming little one" she says

"DON'T CALL ME THAT, only my grandmother calls me that!"

"You're just as stubborn as your mother, its quite endearing, but I'm afraid we have to leave, your identity has been compromised and we cant stay here anymore" she says coming closer to me

I shuffle away from her but I suddenly am unable to move, my body is stiff, it doesn't feel like I can control it, what's going on, is she doing this, how is she doing this?

She stops in front of me and places her thumb on my forehead

"Please forgive me your highness, I don't want to do this either, but I made a promise to your grandmother and mother to keep you safe, and until I know you're ready you cannot know anything about you being a fairy" she says raising her head up, her eyes turning white and her wings flapping vigorously.

And before I know it, everywhere becomes dark.

Hello hello, It's me again

So I have returned from my unwilling short hiatus which I sincerely and genuinely apologize for, but for a while I had a bunch of issues with the app which fortunately has now been solved. So now I'm back to updating, so once again I hope you enjoyed this chapter
