Avu ran towards Sid and called him. She started shouting his name. Her shouts caught his attention. His legs stopped from walking forward listening to someone calling his name. He was about to turn to see who was calling him but as soon as he heard carefully and realized who it was he stopped. He frowned and turned back immediately. He stood there only for few seconds and then started walking more quickly. He didn't want to face her and listen to any of her talks nor wanted to end up sharing any more information and regret later.

Avu: Siddharth listen yrr. Ek baar baat to sunlo

He quickly entered the boys hostel. She knew everyone has to make an entry on reception as soon as he or she enters the hostel so Sid would have to stop there willingly or unwillingly and this was a great opportunity to catch him. She quickly walked behind him but as she was about to enter inside her warden called. She stomped her foot in frustration and cried out in anger cursing her warden for her such a good timing. She turned around fake smiling towards her.

Avu: Good evening ma'am

Warden: Good evening. You were in hostel today?

Avu: Umm yes ma'am

Warden: May I be blessed to know the reason? What was so important that you decided to take a leave and stay in hostel instead of going to college and attending your lectures?

Avu: Wo...actually...ya I was sick today ma'am?

Warden: What happened? Do you need to see a doctor?

Avu: No no. Nothing much

Warden: If you are on periods then let me remind you that does not count as sick. I hope you are aware of it

Avu: Yes ma'am. I was just having fever in the morning. But it got fine after resting. So now I am alright

Warden: Then who was going to inform me and put it on register on the hostel entrance? When were you planning to do that? When superintendent will check the attendance at the end of month?

Avu was standing quitely looking down pretending to listen to her lecture.

Warden: You are very well aware of rules and regulations. Whenever any hostel student needs to take a leave, he or she is supposed to do the entry at the entrance with a genuine reason

Avu: I know ma'am

Warden: Then why is it not there?

Avu: Umm sorry ma'am. I just forgot. It skipped my mind

Warden: Then go and do it now. Right away

Avu: I will do but can I take today's notes from one of my friends

Warden: I said now means now. I need to submit the register in office

Avu: Ma'am I will do it. Just five minutes

Warden: I don't want to repeat Miss Nandra

She said glaring.

Avu: Okk

She sighed sadly and walked to hostel in anger while cursing the warden under her breath.

Avu: Naa saali khud jeeti hai na jeene deti hai. Pata nhi kab maregi. Hume bhi thoda chain milega. Sadiyal boodi. Huh!!!

She said hitting on the stone taking out her anger but instead ended up hurting her foot.

Avu: Ouch!!! Fuckkk

She stomped her foot and walked towarda girls hostel. She put her entry and went in her room. She decided to study for sometime as Sid just came from college now and must be tired. And she knew very well that if she went to him now to trouble him, he would surely just shout on her. So she took her books and started studying. But now her mind was not focusing. She was just tossing pages. At time she would pick up her phone, then she would start walking around the room. Other time she was tossing on bed. After almost 2 hours of struggle, she realized she was just wasting her time all this while. She could have studied and completed a lots of work. She could have very well utilized her time.

Avu: Shit. I just spent whole evening like that. Such a fool I am

She said holding her head in her hands while sitting on bed. But now she decided to get her answers at any cost tonight and end this curiosity. For now even helping him was not her first priority. She wanted to calm herself and his thoughts were troubling her a lot and she wanted to get rid of everything before she herself got mad. With that determination, she jumped out of her bed and tied her hair in a loose bun. She used the washroom once and locked her room and went out putting her phone and keys in her pajama pockets.

Avu: Siddharth you have to answer me today at any cost. I don't know anything I want to know each and everything
