Avu rushed to her class as time was already up. She sighed in relief as she reached class because teacher has not come yet otherwise today she was definitely in a big trouble as teacher also got angry on her a day before.

Flashback

Teacher was taking lecture while Avu was getting bored. So she started making caricature of teacher. Teacher suddenly noticed movement of her hands and understood easily what was going on while Avu was lost in her creativity. Teacher took a chalk and threw towards her. It hit her face and looked up with a frown as a reflex. She gulped as soon as she saw teacher looking at her with a straight face and arms folded near the chest.

Teacher: Miss Kaur please stand up and let the class have the privilege to acknowledge your presence

Avu understood she was in a big trouble. Whole class was gossiping that she is gonna be scolded so badly today. Although no one knew what exactly she did now but they very well knew she has done some non-sense again to make the teacher furious except for Sid.

Sid:(whispered) That caricature

He whispered softly but girl sitting behind him heard something.

Girl: You said something?

She asked raising her brow. Sid looked her.

Sid: Huh? Nothing

He said shooking his head. Girl just nodded with a confused face.

Girl: Boy is something weird

Anyways she ignored and decided to enjoy the drama going on in class. Whole class was waiting to know what exactly Avu had done now and how exactly teacher was gonna punish her. While Sid knew exactly what she did and what punishment she was gonna get from teacher today. Avu stood up.

Teacher: Please come forward

Avu: Sorry na ma'am....

Teacher:(cuts her) What for? Atleast tell for what you are sorry if you actually are. I am asking you to come forward. Please come

Avu knew there was no use. Teacher was not shouting. She was so calm. Definitely this was the calmness before storm. Had teacher been shouting as always, Avu would have heard from one ear and out from other. She wouldn't have paid much attention.

Now teacher's reaction was completely different so Avu got out from the desk and was about to move forward.

Teacher: Wait. Not like this. Atleast bring your masterpiece with you

Avu knew what she was talking about and there was no use of any kind of excuse as she was a well experienced teacher. She will cause any lie or excuse in a second.

Avu: Ma'am please...

Teacher:(cuts her) We don't have much time Avneet. Lecture is gonna be over very soon. So please be quick

Avu sighed and picked up her drawing she just drew now. She was looking at teacher hoping she would have some mercy and let it be but teacher was standing with same stern look. Avu held her caricature tightly in her hands and moved forward. She stood beside the teacher in front of the whole class.

Teacher: Kindly show us this masterpiece of yours

Avu: Ma'am...

Teacher:(cuts her) Avneet

Avu slowly turned her caricature towards the class for all of them to see. Some of them started laughing.

Teacher: Look how talented students we have. Making funny cartoons of teachers while teacher is making so much of efforts to provide a productive lesson. Avneet if job is funny or too easy in your perspective, why don't you take classes. I will also get time to rest. What say?

Avu: Ma'am I am sorry

Teacher:(shouts) What sorry? How many times you say the same thing but still keep on repeating. Don't. Just don't say sorry till you genuinely feel it. Till you are genuinely guilty and want to improve yourself

Avu was just standing looking downwards. Class had pin drop silence.

Teacher: Enough now. I am done with your non sense. I don't have time or energy to waste on you when I know very well that you are not gonna improve. Alright then I have tried being polite, strict everything. But there is no impact on you. Now give me your I'd card and you very well know the consequences you won't get your examination roll no. without that

Avu: Ma'am I am sorry. I am really really sorry. I promise from now own nothing like this will happen and this time I mean it. I will make sure of it

Teacher: Fine then if you say so then okk I am giving you one last chance. But remember you did a single more thing to make me furious, I will take away your I'd card, then bare the consequences

Avu: Sure ma'am. I won't give you chance again to be angry. I won't do anything like this again

Teacher: But now you have wasted a lot of mine and students' time so you can leave the class

Avu: But...

Teacher:(cuts her) I don't want any discussion. I won't repeat myself again and again. Don't waste more of my time. Just get out

Avu knew she had messed up badly this time so she nodded. She picked up her stuff and left quitely.
