Couns.: So how are you feeling today?

Sid: I am fine. How about you?

She smiled and answered.

Couns.: I am also fine Siddharth

They talked for sometime and when they were approaching the end, she said something that Sid frowned.

Couns.: Siddharth I think now you are doing pretty good and you really don't need counseling any further

Sid looked at her astonished but couldn't speak anything. She took a deep breath.

Couns.: See Siddharth I feel it's time for us to end the counseling

Sid: W...why? I mean everything is going so great in my life now. S...so why you w..want to leave me again?

He asked as his eyes filled with tears.

Couns.: Yes it's going great. You came here because you had some issues in your life and you needed solutions but now see everything is fine and your life has got on track so there is no need of this. Right?

Sid: Yes. But

He was feeling very disturbed for now.

Sid: But what if I again have any problem? Then you should be there na to solve it. Like you solved all my problems before

Couns.: No Siddharth. First of all I didn't solve any problem of yours. That ain't my job. It was you who solved everything. It was you who found your solutions. I just showed you the way. The correct path. That's it. And secondly I can't be there with you or for you forever. In fact no one can come and help you solve your problems. You have to find your ways on your own

He somehow stopped his tears from falling. He had started getting attached to his counsellor and had started seeing her someone he could trust, he could confide in and the time has come when he had to leave her as well now. So he just got up to take his leave. But his feet betrayed and he looked at her but nothing came out of his mouth. But she understood.

Couns.: Want to say something?

She asked politely.

Sid: Can't we even be friends?

She smiled sadly and shooked her head.

Couns.: You know right Siddharth you are not my first client and nor will be my last. And each one of them is special but I cannot have any relationship with any of them outside this room. Once you leave this room today we have nothing in between us. Here also I was just your counsellor and you were my client. Nothing more. Nothing less. That's the truth of professional. Ethically I can't have any personal relationship with any of my clients

Sid was sad but anyhow nodded understanding her point. It was her job and she did it quite well. Sid smiled at her.

Sid: Thank you. Thank you so much. You don't know what you have done for me

Couns.: Well you are most welcome. And Siddharth do celebrate this new journey of yours and award yourself for this transition

Sid nodded and left greeting her. He shut the door behind him. He looked at the door and a smile came on his face. He remembered his first time he entered inside. A lot had changed since then and for good this time. He felt kind of nostalgic. The place was special for him. And his pillars came to him.

Abhi: How was it bro?

Sid: It was the last session bhayia. Thank you for bringing me here

He jumped on Abhi and hugged him tightly. Then he looked at Avu and this time he was the one to pull her in the hug. Abhi and Avu were not shocked now. They both were extremely happy for him.

Time passed

Today was the day, Abhi's batch got graduated. Their juniors were a bit sad but heartily wished them best wishes for their future. Abhi had decided to propose Vaish today for marriage. Everyone was teasing him. Abhi came out from the crowd and saw Avu sitting alone. He sighed and went and sat beside her.

Abhi: So what's up baby?

Avu: Aapko kya lagta hai

She asked looking forward.

Abhi: No you tell me

Avu looked at her smiling but then tears rolled down her eyes. She hugged him.

Avu: I will miss you bhai

Abhi: Awww. I will miss you too bub

He said hugging her back and caressing her hair. He kissed her head.

Abhi: I love you. You know right?

Avu: Hmm

She said wiping away her tears and breaking the hug.

Abhi: By the way when are you telling Sid?

Avu: On his birthday. Next month. Abhi to waise bhi holidays hai sab ghar jaa rahe hai. I don't want to start my relationship with long distance already

They both chuckled. The month went by. Not in a blink of eye. Everyone missed each other a lot. And most Sid and Avu. It was different for them. As much as they loved spending time with families, they were dying to see each other and finally it ended. After few days, it was Sid's birthday. And after cake cutting among Avu and her group, she came in front of Sid and sat on one knee and everyone hooted while Sid was shoked. She poured her heart out.

Sid: Avi you are a very special person to me. And I do feel something for you. But love or not I don't know for now. But I want to give chance to us. I want to explore my feelings and us both. With you. Will you once again help me in that?

Avu nodded and hugged him. They decided to date and take things slow for now.
