"It happened again!" Rumours has spread all around of who was killed and who by. Some said it could have been a tiger or bear or something dangerous and large. Noachi shook his head, holding his books closer to him in his wings. He knew his friend would never do something like that. He suddenly jumped though when he felt a claw land on his shoulder only to turn and see his friend. "Oh hey Lujiph. Sorry, you scared me a little." Lujiph just laughed a little and nodded. "It's alright. I.. seem to be scaring a lot of people today" She sighed before she brushed it off and just walked with her to their class. People did question their friendship of predator and prey but they didn't make it obvious due to Lujiph being a bear. Noachi suddenly stopped. Lujiph looked at her friend, confused before she looked up and saw what he was looking at which happened to be a particular snake who was just waiting for the classes to start.

Lujiph looked back at Noachi and she sighed gently. "Have you figured it out yet or not about Chrome?" They had been constantly talking and debating about what Noachi felt for Chrome. Was it fear because he was a predator who could devour Noachi if he wanted to. After all, Noachi described it as his heart picking up pace and he would be nervous but then they also wondered if Noachi actually liked Chrome even though he was a snake. Chrome looked up when he finally detected the scent of Noachi and Noachi quickly started moving again, just going past.

After the classes for the day, Noachi was walking back to the dorms alone. He wasn't too paranoid about the whole killing thing and he didn't worry himself with it too much until he thought he heard something and he froze on the spot before he tried to make a break for it until something wrapped around his leg. He started to panic and struggle, unable to see who it was in the dark and he felt something dig into him until there was the sound of other voices. As soon as the predator had caught him, it let go. When Noachi got back to his dorm, he checked over the wound and thought it was just some scratches some he covered it and thought of it as nothing.

The next day, Noachi was walking to class with Lujiph and kept the bandage hidden under his shirt until he finally noticed Chrome who walked up to him and he stopped. "Hey uh.. I notice you staring at me sometimes.. Do I freak you out?" Noachi quickly shook his head and hands. "No no no! Not at all! I'm so sorry I keep staring!" He quickly apologised, not really noticing he dropped his books. Lujiph face palmed and both Chrome and Noachi bent down to help pick everything up "Sorry about that." Noachi apologised which made Chrome chuckle a little. "You apologise a lot. It's fine really." Noachi once again felt his heart speed up and he felt himself freeze a little. What was this feeling?
