Fanfic: Celestial Heart (Fairy Tail)

Physical Appearance: Winter is of average height, with long blonde hair she has the habit of keeping down about her shoulders, as opposed to her sister who sports a side ponytail. Her normal attire consists of t-shirts, jeans or shorts, jackets (her favorite being an army-green cropped jacket), sneakers or boots, and a pair of aviator goggles she uses to hold back her hair.

Winter is nearly always smiling, though her second most common expression is a thoughtful frown.

Personality: Winter has oft described herself as a cliche heroine, and in truth she shares many traits of celebrated heroes. She's witty, she's compassionate (to a fault, at times). She tackles the roles no one else dares to tread, either for fear of their lives, or, on occasion, for fear of embarrassment. One noted point of Winter's personality is that she becomes rather sarcastic when troubled, first demonstrated to Gray while in the face of Loke's fangirls.

Winter, for the most part, is a calm individual. She takes things in stride - except when it comes to fighting. At the first inkling of a brawl, Winter is up ok her feet, fists striking through the air, more than ready to join the brawl. She enjoys herself most when locked in a bought of fisticuffs (or, more accurately, a magic duel) with another mage, especially those of Fairy Tail. Her philosophy is that the only way to truly understand them is through fighting - or, at least, you'll get a good idea of their personality from it.

Friends mean a lot to Winter (as they do for most Fairy Tail mages), but family means infinitely more. She views Lucy as the only remainder of her once perfect family, and consequently, her twin is her most important person. If she were ever given the choice between the whole of Fairy Tail and her sister...

Well, she'd rather not have to make that decision.

Weapon: A combination of Solid Script (stemmed from a childhood love of fairytales) and Celestial Spirit magic. Her favorite Spirit to call on is Lyra, and her least is Aquarius, though the animosity between them is completely Winter's fault (a result of more unpleasant childhood memories). She's also fairly proficient at hand-to-hand combat, and she prefers it in a straight, friendly fight as opposed to one she'd encounter on a job.

Relationship: Has (supposedly) unrequited feelings for Loke.

Author's Opinion: Winter is yet another interesting character. In the beginning, I felt she was a bit too much like Raya, but I think she's definitely come into her own as her story has progressed, and for that I'm extremely grateful.

The best part about Winter, though, is her interactions with other characters. Her scenes with Gray and Candor are my absolute favorites from the story! The little lawn-head might not appreciate her humor, but hey, that's his problem.
