I sighed as I watched myself straighten my tie for the 6th time in the last 5 minutes.

Today was the day that would change my life. The wedding.

My friend John walked in the room. "Dude, its starting come on!" He said, dressed in a suit like most of the men here.

I think the moment I started crying was when I watched her go down the aisle. Her long white dress fit on her perfectly. I stared at her, tears building in my eyes. Before I know it they poured from my eyes like waterfalls. John nudged me.

"She looks beautiful." He said, smiling. I laughed, wiping the tears away. "She sure is.." I mumbled.

The moment the vows were being said I had to leave.

Its unfair.

I was there for her!

I was her protector!

I was her best friend!

But...he is the one who gets to say,

"I Do."
