Rory was lying on her back on her bedroom floor, scrolling through her camera roll. It was a Saturday afternoon and she didn't really have better things to do. It was then her father knocked on the door, opening it before she could say anything.

"Go down into the living room," He said.

"Why?"

"Cause I said so. I got a surprise for you down there."

That got Rory's attention. Tony Stark wasn't really one for surprises unless that surprise was something horrible had happened.

"Really? What is it?"

"Go downstairs and you'll see."

Okay, so a life altering catastrophic event wasn't happening. That narrowed it down. As such, Rory stood and made her way downstairs, towards the living room, where she saw her mother standing.

Rory didn't speak, just ran over and hugged her tightly, Sophia returning the favor.

"I missed you so much," Rory whispered as Sophia kissed the top of her head.

"I missed you, too," The older woman said. Sure, the two had had text conversations, phone calls, face times, all that, but this was the first time they'd seen each other in person in nearly two years.

Rory broke the hug after several minutes, pulling back. The mother and daughter sat on the couch, talked, and discussed what would be happening. Rory was more than thrilled at the idea of not having to live with her father anymore.

Meanwhile, a certain redhead stared from around the corner. She was jealous, she couldn't even make an attempt to deny that.

"Lucky bitch," Rachel whispered to herself, listening to the two talk. She just stood there, watching them.

"Rachel?" Pepper called. "Can you come help me for a moment?"

Rachel glanced at Rory and Sophia once more before walking off.

"Coming!"
