this is short because I just wanted to write a quick prequel to Young Girl

Lucie had hopped on a few buses and now she was in America, that was the extent of her knowledge. She bounced her leg up and down on the ground, as she sat at the table outside of a weird shop called Starbucks. She wanted Laura, her parents, hell even Valentina. But no. They were on the other side of the border. 

Lucie didn't even know where in America she was.

After several minutes, she stood up and walked over to a man she saw, his jacket reading FBI. "Sir?" She said. The girl knew she needed help, she knew she was mostly hopeless without Laura.

The man turned to her. "Hm? Yes? Can I help you?"

Unsure of how to answer, Lucie shrugged. "Alright then. Are your parents around?" He asked and Lucie shook her head. "Where are they?"

"Canada."

"Wow- okay, can you come with me?" The man smiled gently at her and gestured to his car, which Lucie got into the back in.
