Talking to Danny was probably the best part of the demigirl's day. Well, it of course depended on whatever else happened that day but generally it was talking to Danny. The Canadian demigirl's life was not the most exciting one so naturally talking to this American demigirl was lots of fun. She was funny and Maxxie had always wanted to dye her hair, she just could not pick a color so she dropped the subject. She debated cutting it at one point but they decided against it in the end.

Danny and Maxxie had been talking since they were both twelve and they were fourteen now. They had sent photos but not once heard each other's voices. 

The two joked for a bit before it seemed Danny stopped responding. They assumed they went to bed as it was pretty late. That morning they woke up to a message.

And then next thing Maxxie knew she heard the dinging ringing of writeandtalk.com's video chat feature.

They answered it and saw Danny's familiar face. "Hey." Maxxie greeted Danny and the blue-haired demigirl started giggling. "Hi." She said. "You've got a pretty voice." They complimented and void giggled. "Thanks, so do you."
