Backstory:

Henry was born to Margret Rostock via sperm donor. Margret was a psychologist studying child development, and she had the cruel theory that child abuse would force a child to mature faster. She thought the only thing that would separate a 'failure' from a 'success' is if the child could overcome any mental illness that would occur due to the abuse, and Henry became one of her lab rats. She had abused a few other kids in the past, but she was never caught and all of the kids were deemed as failures because all of them had severe mental illness such as depression, PTSD, and anxiety.

Margret was brutal to Henry. She would physically beat him until he was bleeding, sometimes even with a weapon like a belt or a piece of metal. Sometimes she did it for no reason other than to scare him, but usually she did it to punish him, even if it was something small {like him forgetting to do a chore}. She forced him to study practically 24/7, not even letting him sleep, eat, or use the bathroom until she was satisfied. Sometimes he wouldn't be allowed to leave his desk for 12+ hours or he'd get beat up.

Once she noticed that Henry seemed to have a natural talent in science, she raised her expectations for his performance in science and forced him to pick something to specialize in. At first he chose biology, but Margret saw that he was better at chemistry and forced him to abandon biology despite that being his bigger interest. By the time he was just 5, all of this had transpired since he'd been forced to start studying when he was just a toddler.

Henry was never allowed to have friends, social media, electronics of any kind, toys, or even a bed! Margret claimed that all of those were distractions, and so Henry's room only held a dresser for clothes, a bookshelf for textbooks, and a desk and chair for him to study.

When Henry was 7, a teacher found out about all the abuse that was happening at home and called CPS. He was quickly taken to an orphanage and Margret was sent to jail for child abuse and neglect. When Henry was 8, he was adopted by a foster family that was much more loving towards him than his mother was, but the damage was already done. The trauma had caused him to develop bipolar disorder, and even though he received therapy for it, it was still very violent.

In mania he was often seen replicating what his mom had done to him, and no matter what anyone tried to do he wouldn't stop studying. He eventually stopped in his early 20s, but he also used to harm himself in as many ways as he could if he did something wrong- no matter how small it was. He would refuse to sleep in his bed and would usually not sleep at all, instead choosing to study all night.

In depression he would obtain alcohol, legally or not, and refuse to get out of bed for weeks on end. He would drink himself into oblivion almost every night and sometimes even attempt suicide, some of which landed him in the hospital. He would lie and say it was an accident every time to avoid getting placed in a mental facility.

His manic episodes had an odd trait of usually lasting for years, while his depressive episodes usually lasted for about 4-6 months. With the help of his therapist, by the time he'd moved out of the house to attend college at the early age of 16 he had greatly reduced the severity of most of his episodes, though they were still rather violent.

While in college, he met someone named Shaun. Although he'd been named the Ultimate Predictor while in high school, he was majoring in chemistry and quickly befriended Henry. The two started to date a few months later after learning they had a lot in common and developing feelings for each other. Shaun ended up dropping out of college, but the two still remained in close contact. Henry graduated college at the age of 22, and shortly afterwards the two married.

When Henry was 24, with the help of a large group of scientists, he was able to get a 'medicine' to the stages of human experimentation that would allow males to develop a uterus and thus get pregnant. His husband Shaun volunteered to be the first human test subject, and Henry got Shaun pregnant. By the time his children were born, Henry was 25. Shaun gave birth to triplets: Charles, Simon, and Ingrid.

Henry chose to experiment with another 'medicine' his team had been developing that would cause a person's body to rapidly mature to become 21 years older than they currently were. The maturation process would take 24 hours to complete.

His kids successfully grew to be "21" years old within the day, although they had a few fake memories as if they'd actually grown up though they were aware they'd been modified to rapidly mature. They also knew basic skills like talking, reading, writing, riding bikes, etc. and even had unique personalities! Nobody has been able to explain how it happened.

Henry has spent nearly his entire life doing research, and except for interacting with his family he's almost always working. He doesn't harm himself anymore, but he still has incredibly long manic episodes where he works pretty much 24/7. He no longer sees a therapist or takes medication for his bipolar disorder despite knowing that puts him at great risk for several issues.

Backstory:
Simon was born to Henry and Shaun as part of an experiment for male pregnancy, and he was then 'aged up' to the age of 21 using another experimental product. He was part of a set of triplets that also included Ingrid and Charles.

Simon and Ingrid sort of naturally gravitated towards each other, with Simon often helping Ingrid navigate the world because she was blind and using her cane embarrassed her. He sort of took on a 'big brother' role for her despite them being the same age.

When Simon was 'aged up' he was gifted with incredible knowledge of the law, and he was quickly dubbed the Ultimate Lawyer. Despite the fact he'd never officially gone to college to get a degree, he was allowed to become a lawyer with his own private practice- quickly earning him lots of money and fame. He didn't care about all of that, though, he just wanted to help people. Simon is very popular for the fact he's never lost a single case and is especially cheap for the services he provides, and although he's been accused of blackmailing or manipulating judges there's no evidence of it because he never has. He wins every case fair and square.

One day when Simon was taking a walk in a park, he noticed someone was crying and nobody even seemed to care. Simon decided to take matters into his own hands, and he put a hand on the stranger's shoulder and asked, "Hey... what's wrong?"

The man who was crying was named Damien, and he spilled his entire life story to Simon. Damien's dad had raised him single, he'd spent practically his entire life trying to help his dad out, etc. {See Damien's backstory.} Simon listened to his entire life story and didn't judge him for any of it. Instead, when Damien had sobbed his entire life story out, Simon just hugged Damien. It was the first hug Damien had ever had in his entire life.

After that day, the two of them became friends and Simon helped get both Damien and his dad out of all their financial troubles since he's a millionaire with so much money he doesn't know what to do with it. A few months later Damien and Simon started dating, and after 3 years of dating they finally decided they wanted to get married. They've now been married for two years and are happy as ever with each other.

Backstory:

While Shaun was pregnant with Charles, Henry wanted to make it so their kids would not be likely to have mental illness since both Henry and Shaun were bipolar. However, because Henry was not experienced enough in biology, he made two mistakes when trying to genetically alter Charles. The first mistake was that Charles was very likely to experience chronic depression that could not be cured even with the best therapy, medications, or other treatments. The second mistake was that Charles would express emotions such as sadness, numbness, guilt, etc. as sexual desires. Henry wanted to correct his mistakes, but he was afraid of making it worse or potentially causing a fatal birth defect so he left it as is. He still feels guilty for that decision, wondering if Charles would be a better person if he'd tried.

When Charles was 'aged up,' he had the knowledge as if he'd gone to college and majored in biology, and was immediately dubbed as the Ultimate Biologist when he displayed his skills. In just a month he was already making millions, and a few months later he was well known in the science community. However, due to Charles's genetic issues, he quickly became a sex addict.

One day, a woman that Charles can't even remember the name of decided that Charles needed to be 'taught a lesson' for being so sexual. She purposefully got herself pregnant by him, and then when she gave birth she left the child at Charles's doorstep, literally. He didn't want to let the child die or just give it up, so he decided to raise the child himself. Since his unexpected daughter had no name, he named her Breana.

With the help of Henry, Charles managed to raise Breana with as normal a life as he could manage. Breana was very intelligent and at a very young age showed promise in the subject of science and especially physics. Charles and Henry noticed this and immediately encouraged Breana to study further, and she ended up graduating college at the very age of 14. Charles and Henry were there to encourage her every step of the way, and Charles feels proud of both himself and her.

Backstory:

Breana's mom hated Charles after she felt personally attacked by his flirtatious attitude due to him triggering a past trauma of hers. She attempted to explain to Charles that she felt uncomfortable and told him to go away since he was just a stranger, but he wouldn't listen and kept hitting on her. She thought of a way to "teach him a lesson," and as much as she hated him she slept with him. She tore his condom without him noticing and thus made him impregnate her.

nce the baby was born, she literally left the baby at Charles's doorstep with a note explaining what she'd done and why. Charles didn't want to just abandon his child even if she'd shown up unexpectedly, so he decided to name her Breana and take her in. He wasn't sure how to go about raising a child, but he got a lot of help from Henry and Shaun. To the best of their abilities, they gave Breana as normal of a life as they could.

From as young as just 3 or 4 she clearly showed an interest in science, which Charles and Henry noticed immediately. They encouraged her to start studying, wondering if she would also have a talent related to science. Backstory:

Shaun was born into a rather average household. He had an older sister named Astrid, and the two were rather close. However, as Shaun got older, he realized that he seemed to have no talent while his sister was better at practically everything just because she was older and bigger than he was. He started to become jealous, and he began searching for something he could be better than his sister at.

Astrid was dubbed the Ultimate Trumpet Player when she was in high school, which only put the pressure on Shaun even more to find something he was good at. He was constantly being compared to his sister and how she had a talent and he didn't, and it practically drove him mad with jealousy. His entire life became about trying to find something he was good at to prove that he was at least at an equal level with his sister and so he could finally step out of her shadow.

One day... he finally found his talent. He was bored, so he wrote down a conversation between him and his friends since he had a hobby of writing. Curious to see how 'in character' he'd written everything, he memorized his 'lines' and then started having the conversation with his friends. To his surprise, everything that they said, word for word, was in his notebook. He showed his friends his notebook and they were just as surprised as he was at the new discovery.

Curious to see how far he could take it, Shaun started making more guesses about people such as a stranger's personality or things about a stranger's past. He was correct with an accuracy of about 90%, though he wasn't able to describe how he could tell those things about a person, nor was he able to tell everything about them. He'd just catch fragments of them through some unknown method- sometimes even having dreams about his friends! In his dreams he'd sometimes see their homes or somewhere special to them and be able to describe it in detail without ever having seen it. Because of this, Shaun was dubbed the Ultimate Predictor.

At first he was happy with his official title of becoming an Ultimate, but he soon started to doubt the true extent of his talent. He convinced himself that his talent was really just intuition combined with an overactive imagination that gave him his talents from both his conscious and unconscious life, and after that he was a wreck of insecurity and self hate. He chose to ignore his talent and instead attended college as a chemistry major. Here he met Henry who changed his life forever.

Shaun dropped out of college after his first year, but he remained in close contact with Henry while he finished college. Henry immediately started to immerse himself into the world of science, and before he knew it he went from struggling to pay off his student loans to a life of wealth due to Henry's major success. At first he felt guilty and like a leech since he didn't help Henry whatsoever with any source of income except for illegal jobs, but eventually his laziness took over his guilt and he doesn't care about that anymore.

Backstory:

Ingrid was born completely blind due to an unknown cause, leaving Henry to believe it was caused by his genetic experimentation on his own children. When she was 'aged up' she was able to make dolls of anyone she met, in full detail and color! She fails to replicate this skill anywhere else, so to even her, how she's able to do this is a mystery.

She's always been insecure about the fact she's blind and worried about being judged or made fun of, so Ingrid rarely chose to leave her house or even her bedroom. The dolls she made ended up somehow getting leaked to the public market and traced back to her, and she was thus named the Ultimate Dollmaker. Her dolls then started selling for a lot of money and having a lot of demand, so although she didn't really want to she started making more dolls to satisfy the demands of the public. She found their greediness overwhelming, but once she started being able to meet the demands of the public while also keeping herself happy, she started to become happy with the amount of positive reviews and happy customers she had. If she could make other people happy, she was happy to do it. However, despite all the sudden fame, she still rarely left her own bedroom.

During one of Ingrid's rare public appearances, she met Adam. The two became friends and Simon later joined in and made it a trio of friends. The three of them hung out often, and Ingrid eventually found herself falling in love with Adam. Adam was also developing feelings for Ingrid, and eventually he confessed his feelings to her. She admitted she also had feelings and the two entered a relationship, but they both agreed to take things slowly. It took several years until the two of them got married, with Simon cheering them on the entire way.

Backstory:

Adam grew up in a very poor household as an only child. His mom had been put in jail for 27 years after she got drunk and attempted to murder her boss, so he was raised by his dad. He had to work two jobs and never had the time for Adam or to even properly care for the house because he was so exhausted, so Adam took it upon himself to take care of the house for his dad. He quickly learned to be independent and live without the support or affection of others.

However, despite being forced to grow up from a young age, Adam understood what was going on even though he was still really young. He didn't hold any harsh feelings towards his dad, and instead he wanted to help him. He wanted to earn lots of money so he could help out his dad, and he learned that lots of jobs in the medical field would earn you a lot of money. Since Adam already had a soft spot for those who were weaker than him, he decided to work towards having a job in the medical field.

His dad figured Adam would drop out of college and get in lots of debt, so he tried to talk Adam out of it. Adam refused to listen and graduated high school a year early with a perfect 4.0 GPA, choosing to attend a very prestigious college. After a while of med school, he decided he wanted to specialize in performing surgery so he spent the extra couple of years to specialize.

Once he graduated, he got a job at the only hospital in his small town. They were rather understaffed, so he had to manage a somewhat large practice outside of surgery. Adam didn't mind since he liked helping people. Once he had a stable income and was on his feet, he sent some money to his dad to help him also get on his feet financially. He wasn't going to spoonfeed his dad since he wanted him to also work, but he still wanted to help out a little bit. His dad greatly appreciated the help.

Although he'd repressed it for almost his entire life, Adam had always been a fan of looking at all sorts of art that was made locally- especially newly emerging artists. Now that he was making quite a bit of money, he was able to start going to exhibits featuring the work of local artists in the state whenever his schedule gave him the time. He was especially intrigued by the curious case of someone's art who was named Ingrid. Not only were the dolls she made of amazing quality, but he learned that she was blind and like everyone else, he wondered how she could make something so amazing despite being blind.

Adam started talking about it with one of his co-workers, and they basically laughed at him and said she was obviously faking it for more money and fame. He hoped that wasn't the case, but he had no idea how he'd be able to prove it. However, once he heard that Ingrid was going to make a public appearance at one of her exhibits, he decided he'd try to visit her to get to know her better.

He ended up being able to talk to Ingrid, and the two quickly became friends. Adam was able to confirm for sure that Ingrid was blind just by the way she acted, and he didn't care that his co-worker still thought she was faking it. Adam chose to ignore his co-worker and focus on his new friendship with Ingrid as well as her brother, Simon. After a few months, he found himself developing feelings for Ingrid, and he confessed that he'd fallen in love with her. To his surprise, Ingrid returned his feelings, and the two agreed to start a relationship but take it slowly. Several years later they got married and are thinking about trying to have kids.

Adam is similar to Simon in the sense that he is very wholesome and has an overall gentle but professional demeanor. However, there are key differences.

First of all, Adam is only nice to people who have gained his trust. He's still polite and gives professional courtesy to those he's not too close to, but he doesn't get too buddy-buddy with them until he trusts them more. He also tends to be skeptical of others, though he has a soft spot for those who are weak and disabled and will trust them more easily. Adam is angered under reasonable circumstances, and although he usually deals with his anger in an adult fashion, he has been in a couple of fist fights.

Backstory:

Damien's family had lived in the UK for generations, but Damien's grandparents chose to move to the US after going on tour there in Seattle for a month and having a lot of fun. Not long after his grandparents had settled in, they had a single son named William. He dated an American girl named Brittany when he grew up, and she later became pregnant. After Brittany gave birth to Damien, she broke up with William because she claimed she wasn't ready for a kid.

The truth was that she'd only dated William because she was into his looks and his accent, and when she realized that she now had a kid to take care of she ran away from the responsibility and chose to screw around with another British guy shortly afterwards. Damien's dad was left to raise Damien by himself, having to work two jobs and receive help from family members just to sustain a somewhat decent lifestyle for Damien.

Damien's dad constantly told Damien that fake girls would like him because of his looks and he couldn't change that, but he could change his accent. He tried to raise Damien to not have a British accent whatsoever, and through years of training they managed to eradicate most of it. Damien has always felt ashamed that he couldn't get rid of all of his accent and is very insecure of his heritage as well, choosing not to tell most people about it {since everyone can hear the slight British accent in his voice, they tend to assume he's either faking it or has a British relative}.

Growing up, Damien realized how much his dad had to work for basically no money and he felt really bad for it. He tried to get jobs to help out, but William refused to let him get a job and made him focus on school instead. He said that Damien should be allowed an opportunity to focus on only school and not have to dedicate any of his time to work until he was out of school. Really, he was hoping if Damien paid attention enough in class that he could end up with a high paying job and help him out later.

Damien realized this, so after he graduated high school he chose to go to college to go to med school. He specialized in immunology, and sure enough once he got a job he managed to get a pretty good pay. Although he had to pay off several student loans at first, after a few years he paid them all off and managed to send a little bit of money to William once in a while to help him out. Damien also had his own expenses so he knew he couldn't pay much, but he still chose to help even if it was just a hundred dollars or so. He was so focused on helping out his dad and had turned his entire life into that one goal that he missed out on so many other things in life.

One day, Damien finally snapped from the stress of his life and started crying. He was in a public park and several people just walked by, not caring. Some people glared at him as if to tell him a grown man shouldn't be crying, but it only hurt him more. He almost started to contemplate suicide, but quickly dismissed the idea because funerals and other expenses from dying would be a burden to his dad. Feeling nowhere to turn to, he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and someone asked him, "Hey... what's wrong?"

It turned out to be a boy named Simon, and Damien ended up just spilling everything to Simon that he'd been holding in for his entire life. Simon listened to the entire story, not judging Damien for anything. He just listened to all of Damien's problems, and once he was done explaining everything, he gave Damien a hug. It was the first hug Damien had ever had in his entire life.

After that day, the two of them became friends and Simon helped get both Damien and William out of all their financial troubles since he's a millionaire with so much money he doesn't know what to do with it. A few months later Damien and Simon started dating, and after 3 years of dating they finally decided they wanted to get married. They've now been married for two years and are happy as ever with each other.

Damien looks dangerous, but he's actually a sweetheart. Although not to the extent Simon is, he is very polite and kind. He always looks out for the people he cares about and will do everything in his power to make sure they are happy, even if it ends up hurting himself. However, Damien still cares for his own well-being. He knows when too much self sacrifice is too much, but he's not afraid to break off a friendship if the other person would genuinely do better without him.

Sometimes Damien is a little flirtatious, but only towards Simon. It's rather mild; however, and the furthest it goes is usually a few kisses on the neck.

Some notes!!!

•Please do not make spoofs, copies, AUs, etc. of my OCs without my prior consent! I don't care if you use their talents since it's not like I have exclusive rights to their talents or anything, but don't like... make a workaholic bipolar chemist who has crazy experiments or I'm gonna have some beef with you.

•Everyone in the Rostock family lives together in the same mansion, as made obvious by everyone's OC profiles. This was an idea made by Henry because he figured it would be more practical that way.

•If it wasn't obvious by the fact my name is Shaun and I have an OC named Shaun, that's my self insert! There are a few differences between us {namely our height and age, I'm 5'4" in reality and I turn 17 in a few months}, but I tried to keep it as realistic as possible when changing my self insert to what he is. Don't wanna get too crazy, after all!
Also, the Ultimate Trumpet Player is my sister's self insert OC. Do not steal her OC or attempt to use her without my sister's permission. Astrid is her OC and I take no credit for her or any part of her creation.

•The Gachas are mainly as a rough reference, I am aware that there's plain contradictions between the information on the Gacha character sheets and the ones typed up here. In the case of clear contradictions, the character sheet typed up here is the canon one. I mainly have the Gachas as rough references as to what the characters look like, but obviously they're not 100% accurate {cough cough my OC having wings cough cough}

•Ages before Breana were born are listed because I just found that kind of important to put in. Since she's still a fairly recent OC and 19 years is quite the gap, I figured I might as well specify. I might get rid of that eventually.

•Characters that are married may still have scenarios! It'll just take place as if they aren't married or they have an open marriage, whichever 'scenario' floats your boat. These scenarios aren't canon after all, they're just cute little imagines to help me flesh out my OCs.

I might eventually make some OCs specifically to be friends of certain family members in the future to make the family appear even more 'alive,' but for now this is about the extent of all their connections except for William {Damien's dad}, Haiko {Henry's rival}, Astrid {Shaun's sister}, and some characters who don't even have any names or appear in this story whatsoever {like my OC John or Adam's dad}.
