The Way of the Sith (Part Four)

~~~~~~~<><><><><><><>~~~~~~~<><><><><><><>~~~~~~~
Jina'tis was in her personal chamber, currently sleeping. Her brow furrowed after a moment, and she shifted a little before she began murmuring in her native tongue, Elvish. After several moments, she sat up with a gasp, eyes wide. "Queni!"
The Elven Sith looked around the room, quickly remembering where she was. She was on her ship, and she was Sith. She was no Jedi, no Gray Jedi, or anything of the like. She was Sith. She was no longer the little girl her brother had known. She wasn't an Elven Princess, and she was no longer.... no. That name had no meaning to her anymore.
"Tiri."
Jina'tis whirled towards the voice, though she saw nothing. "Who's there?" She questioned, demanding yet quiet. Perhaps it was nothing— maybe it was her own mind recalling days of long ago.
"Tirithiel."
Jina'tis clenched her teeth and closed her eyes. "That woman is dead— she is no more! I am Darth Jina'tis!" Despite trying to shake the memories of the past away, however, they came flooding in anyways.
"Tirithiel, no matter what happens, I will always be with you."
The masculine voice was very familiar to her, though she'd not heard the voice in so, so long. Not since she was a little girl. She had been sitting in her father's lap, talking to him, and the subject of immortality versus mortality had come up, as well as the fact that elves could indeed die if mortally wounded.
"But what if you are killed in battle, Ada? You cannot promise me that you won't be killed.... no one can make that promise."
Jina'tis also recognized this soft, quiet voice. It had been hers long ago, when she had only been a child.
"No, I can't make that promise, Tiri. But I assure you that I will always be with you, even if I do die. The same goes for your mother. We will always be with you in spirit. As long as you remember us, we will be there."
"Okay, Ada. ....Ada, what if you die, and I'm not the same after that? What if it takes me somewhere, emotionally, that I don't want to go?"
"Then look to the light, my darling. Look to the light, and cling to it; don't let it go, and follow its guidance step by step. You will find your way again."
Jina'tis snapped out of her flashback when a knock sounded at her door, and she shook her head before walking over to the door and opening it, finding Saeva standing next to the door. "Yes?" She then glared a bit at the young Sith. "My eyes are up here."
Saeva quickly looked from her low top to her eyes, then he returned the glare. "Perhaps you shouldn't put yourself on display, then." He spat at her before he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Zitira." He then muttered under his breath before he looked at her once again. "We've arrived on Nar Shaddaa."
Jina'tis was about to speak harshly towards him when he muttered 'women' under his breath, but she then closed her mouth and listened as he continued before she nodded. "Then let's land and get going." She replied, grabbing her cloak and lightsabers before she walked out of her room, brushing past Saeva, and down the hall.
Saeva rolled his eyes when the elf brushed past him, though his skin tingled a bit when she made contact with him. He shook his head before he followed after her. She was most likely five foot six, and he was seven foot two, not to mention that he was three hundred and twelve pounds, yet she acted as if he were some small child.
Soon, Saeva and Jina'tis had landed and exited their ship. They exited the hangar, then Jina'tis took the lead since she'd been given the coordinates and made her way to the nearest speeder taxi. She got a taxi for her and Saeva for the large building across from them, and they were soon on their way.
Once there, Jina'tis hurried off into the building, Saeva still following behind her. Soon, she was walking through the larger area of the building, which had many cantinas nearby, as well as Twi'lek dancers. She scowled a little before looking away, ignoring the scene, and making her way to the second level. She then walked along a hall and finally found the room she was looking for, then lifted a brow and eyed the door. How in the galaxy would they get a Hutt to fit through that? There must have been a larger door in the room. Either that, or this had been the bedroom of a baby Hutt, and that Hutt had majorly grown overnight.
"Think this Zihleg The Hutt is in here?" Saeva asked. "I'm gonna have to bend low to get in here, so I can't imagine how a Hutt would have gotten in here." He added in comment, giving a small snort. Those things were fat, overgrown garden slugs.
"That's what my info says." Jina'tis replied, shrugging before she walked into the room. She turned down the hall and walked into a larger room, greeted by the large Hutt, a droid, and a human male. "Yeah, I would say this is the right place." She then murmured to the tall Pureblood before she stopped before the Hutt, giving a polite nod. "I am Darth Jina'tis, apprentice of Lord Vitiate, and this is my companion, Darth Saeva."
The human male translated for the Hutt, then he looked at the two Sith before he spoke. "The great Zihleg The Hutt welcomes you to Nar Shaddaa, and gives you freedom to do as you wish while you are here; enjoy yourselves. There are many cantinas and entertainment centers here."
"Thank you, but we are here on business, then we must be off." Jina'tis replied quickly. "From what I hear, Zihleg has decided to join the Empire?" She added in question. Good, good. It would be very good to gain such an ally.  The Hutts were pretty powerful, so their alliance would benefit the Empire.
There was a pause as the man translated, then he looked at the elf again before replying. "That is right, but there are conditions.... there will be a price." The man translating replied.
Jina'tis eyed the man before she looked at the Hutt. "Haku wohot mee hhobipeth besnewa cay wa che copah? Jeejee doth roe yo ho kiuke che mee chaweka." [What does your translator mean by a price? We are already offering much for your benefit.]
The Hutt looked at Jina'tis as she spoke, then he gave his translator a look and shoved him with a hand. "Jot ten." He said in a big and commanding voice before he turned his attention back to Jina'tis. "Cohbana mi che da sleemo. Goo doth vee dopo bai boonowa heee bai cueciukeu chaweka cua. Lwaa jeejee setpika mah kankahuesa bai bu Kacmahea?" [Forgive me for that slimeball. He is always trying to find ways to increase profit further. Shall we discuss my alliance to the Empire?]
Saeva looked back and forth at the two as they spoke, then he mentally huffed as he crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall as the Elf and the Hutt conversed. He then watched as Jina'tis took a datapad out, had the Hutt scan through it, and then sign a few things, the two conversing all the while. And after that, they still spoke to each other. The Hutt laughed after a moment, then Jina'tis finally walked over to him.
"We're finished here." She informed Saeva as she walked past him, cloak flowing behind her as she silently walked. She always managed to walk without making a sound unless in heels, though she never did wear high heels, as they would be difficult to travel and fight in.
"Lord Vitiate sent us all the way here to simply accept this Hutt into the Empire?" Saeva questioned as he followed along, then he frowned a little. "And I was unaware that you spoke Huttese."
"Who doesn't? Seems to be as common as Basic." Jina'tis replied, ignoring the first question. She thought it ridiculous as well; they'd come all the way to Nar Shaddaa for only this. Oh well, they had a new ally, and Lord Vitiate would be pleased.
"Only word I know is 'sleemo'." Saeva murmured as he followed after her. "What now? Are we going back to Dromund Kaas?"
"We report to Lord Vitiate and find out what he wants us to do next." Jina'tis replied as she walked into the elevator that would take them to their hangar.
Saeva rolled his eyes a little. "Yeah, yeah, yeah; we do whatever we're told like good little puppets for the high and mighty puppet master." He replied with an annoyed tone. "Who exactly gets to decide what we do or don't do, anyways? In the world of the Sith, apprentice kills master. It's how it works. And one day, that is exactly what I intend to do."
Jina'tis glanced back at him as she walked forward, nearing the ramp of the ship. "Why are you sharing this with me? I could easily kill you to prevent such a fate for Lord Vitiate, or to make sure I am one day the one who rules the Sith, or I could tell him myself. Saying such a thing around another Sith is suicide."
Saeva looked at her and was silent a moment before he quickly stepped around her and in front of her, turning to face her as they stood by the ramp. "And who says we couldn't rule together? You're a powerful Sith, I know it to be true. With our combined strength, we could conquer Lord Vitiate together, then we could rule this galaxy— make things the way we want them to be."
Jina'tis rolled her eyes and walked around him before she started up the ramp. "I might accept, if it didn't sound so much like a marriage proposal." She replied with slight sarcasm. "If we took him down together, then we would later fight for dominance. Either the defeated will be the apprentice or second hand to the victor, or the defeated will die."
Saeva watched her walk up the ramp, then he followed up after her, silently wishing her good luck in that case. Because one day, when he was stronger, he would defeat Vitiate, then he he would be ruler. Jina'tis would either join him, or she would die.
