The Way of the Sith (Part Five)

Darth Saeva mentally sighed as he listened to what Lord Vitiate had to tell him and Darth Jina'tis and, once the holoterminal was off and connections were cut off, he looked at the Sith lady. "Let me get this straight. We now have to wait for the arrival of some Jedi and kill him?"
"That's what our master said. Are you deaf?" Jina'tis replied, rolling her eyes a little before she made her way to the ramp. "I know what side of the city the Republic has troops on, so that will no doubt be where the Jedi will stay."
"How does that help us?" Saeva asked, furrowing his brow. "We can't get too close, or we'll get caught by either the troops or the Jedi."
"Who says? There's a way we can get past them. Well, someone of your height wouldn't be able to do so easily, I suppose. But I intend to sneak in there and plant some bugs." Jina'tis said as she walked down the ramp. Once down on the ground, she turned and waited for Saeva to follow.
Saeva followed her down the ramp, ducking his head to keep from hitting it on the top of the door or the top of the ship on the higher part of the ramp. Once he was down, he stood upright and closed the door of the ship after raising the ramp before he looked at the elf lady and sighed. "Alright, but what do you want me to do? I'm your bodyguard. I'll have to find a way to follow you without being seen."
Jina'tis smirked a little. "With the imperial troops here fighting the republic troops, I think sneaking past won't be as difficult as we think it will be." She then gestured for him to follow before she turned and began walking again, her cloak swishing and flowing out behind her. "However, before we begin, we ought to find ourselves a place to stay for the night." She wasn't staying aboard the ship. She needed a change of scenery, for one, and if a Jedi spotted the imperial emblem on that ship, they might try to capture anyone inside.
Saeva shook his head a little before he followed after her, quickly catching up. He was very tall, so he took long strides that were probably equal to three of Jina'tis' steps. Maybe not that many, but it sure seemed like it. After she mentioned needing to find a place to stay for the night, he nodded. He was tired, so sleep definitely sounded nice.
Soon, they found an affordable place, so they walked into the building and spoke with the owner of the place.
"Only room available is a single room, though there are two beds in the room." The owner informed the two of them.
"That's the only room you have available?" Jina'tis repeated in question, as if repeating it as a question would magically change the fact that there was only one room available. "Is there any possibility of anyone leaving tonight?"
"Not a chance." The owner replied with a shake of his head. "A few large families are staying the night, each family having several children. The only available room is the one I mentioned. Will you take it, or are you finding some place else to stay? I really need to get to work."
Jina'tis clenched a fist in annoyance before she sighed and handed the credits over to the man. "We'll take it." She replied. When the owner turned to get the datapad that would unlock their room with a thumbprint, she looked over at Saeva, who smirked at her. She glared at him before taking the datapad from the man, then she turned and walked into the lift that would take them to the second floor, where their room would be.
Saeva grinned when Jina'tis glared at him, then he followed her into the lift. Once on the third floor, he walked off the lift and soon found the room. Since she still held the datapad, he had to wait for her to catch up. When she finally reached the door, he gave a subtle smirk. "About time you caught up, shortie."
"Do you want me to choke you?" Jina'tis snapped at him, opening the door before she brushed past him and walked into the room. She was half tempted to lock him out of the room just for being an annoying pain.
Saeva walked into the room after her, then he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall to the right of the door. "If you so wish; I won't stop you." He replied calmly, amusement in his eyes and voice.
Jina'tis scowled. "Don't tell me you're one of those freaks." She muttered, rolling her eyes before she walked over to one of the beds, the one closest to the window. She shuddered a little and placed a hand on her upper chest near her throat.
"One of those freaks that enjoys the feeling of being choked? Admittedly, yes." Saeva replied, then he watched as she rubbed her upper chest near her throat. "And based on your reaction, I would assume you're one of those people who can't even handle the thought of actually liking being choked."
Jina'tis moved her hand from her throat. "How anyone could like it is beyond me." She muttered, then sighed before she grabbed one of her bags, stood up, and walked to the refresher. She couldn't wait until this mission was over. The last thing she wanted was to share a room with this ginormous oaf.
Saeva watched as she left, then he sighed before he got into his own bag. There was only one refresher, since it was a large, single room, so he simply walked into the small kitchen and changed into his "pajamas" in there. It was simply loose-fitting gray sweatpants, and he had brought a black tank top. He couldn't find it, however, so he walked back into the bedroom so he could search his other bag for it. Jina'tis walked out of the refresher shortly after he'd walked into the room, and he couldn't help but let his gaze linger for a few seconds. She was wearing a gray tank top, fairly decent for the most part, and she wore black pants that seemed to be similar to leggings, though they weren't completely skin tight. He quickly looked away and continued his search for the tank top.
Jina'tis was about to say something when she felt the other Sith's eyes on her, but when she looked at him, she said nothing. The Pureblood before her had an eight pack, and those biceps... she shook her head before she looked away, though she occasionally glanced over at him as he searched.
Saeva finally found the tank top, then he looked at Jina'tis, who had glanced at him again. He smirked before speaking. "My eyes are up here on my face, woman." He said, glad to have a chance to turn it back around on her.
Jina'tis snapped her attention away from his abs, then she cast a glare at him. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came to mind. Only words that would make her a hypocrite. She closed her mouth and rolled her eyes. Stupid Pureblood.
Saeva smirked even more when he saw the elf's reaction. Oh yes, she knew he was right. She couldn't say anything now. After he pulled his shirt on, he sat down on the bed and kicked his socks off.
Jina'tis blinked when she saw the Pureblood's feet. He had only four clawed toes on each foot. She looked at his hands and found that he only had three fingers and a thumb, all of them having claws. She wasn't sure how she hadn't noticed before. Then again, she hadn't been paying attention to him since she found him to be annoying.
Saeva picked up his lightsaber with his left hand, as he was left handed, and twirled it before he activated it. He waved it around a few times before he deactivated it and placed it on the nightstand that was next to him, between his bed and Jina'tis' bed. "I have only four digits on my hands and feet because of my ancestry. Long ago, we had only three digits on our hands and feet. Two large toes with large claws, then a backwards facing claw. Our hands had two fingers with large claws, and a thumb with a smaller claw." He explained, as if sensing her thoughts.
Jina'tis took her hair out of the braids she'd had it in before she grabbed her brush, sat down on her bed, then began brushing through her waist-long hair. She nodded after Saeva spoke. "I had a feeling." She commented in response. She honestly found differences in other races to be fascinating, but ever since she became Sith, she didn't let her fascination show very much. After brushing through her hair, she took her own socks off before she pulled her feet up onto her bed.
Saeva watched her, then he looked away, afraid that staring at her would make her angry, since it normally seemed to. He couldn't help but think that she was really pretty with her hair down, plus her tiny feet were cute... everything about her was cute and tiny. He looked at her again and, after seeing that she was under the blankets on her bed, he used the Force to turn the lights out. He laid on his back, frowning a little when his feet hung over the bed. He sighed, turned onto his side, and pulled his feet up so that they rested on the mattress. No one ever made large enough beds, it seemed. The only bed that actually fit all of him was the one aboard Jina'tis' ship.
After glancing at the Elven maid once more, he stared at the wall in front of him for awhile before he finally closed his eyes. Soon, he felt himself drifting off into a peaceful, relaxing slumber. It felt like it had only been minutes before he jumped, having been startled awake by a cry of alarm. His eyes flew open and he quickly sat up, instinctively reaching for his lightsaber, though he quickly figured out that nothing seemed to be the matter. He did sense that someone was in distress... oh, Jina'tis. Who else could it be?
He turned to face the woman, finding her sitting up with her knees pressed against her chest as she hugged them, her face buried into them. He could tell she was obviously upset, and he could sense that she was in emotional pain. He grimaced a bit, not sure what in the galaxy he should do. He didn't know anything about womanly emotions! You never learned about women in any Sith Academy, after all, only that they were emotionally unstable and moody creatures who were extremely unpredictable, and those things were only learned from experience.
After a moment, Saeva got up, took one tiny step to her bed, then bit his lower lip before he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Lady Jina'tis?" He then said in a quiet, questioning tone. He wouldn't ask a dumb question such as 'you okay', since she obviously wasn't.
Jina'tis flinched when she felt a hand on her shoulder, and she quickly looked up, tears streaking her smooth skin, her beautiful blue eyes glittering in the moonlight that poured through the glass door of the balcony of the room. She stared up at Saeva a moment, as if in a daze, before she slowly pulled away from him. "I'm fine." She whispered, looking away from him. She was embarrassed that she'd woken from a nightmare in such a way with him around. She was used to being alone when she woke up from bad dreams and painful memories.
Saeva frowned a little. "You're clearly not fine." He replied. He was always one to say it how it was, regardless of how others would feel or react. He did refrained from touching her, though he did sit on the edge of her bed to better converse with her. He was so tall, and she was short plus her voice was quiet, so he thought it would be best if he got as far down to her level as he could manage. "What's wrong?"
Jina'tis was silent for what seemed like an eternity before she finally spoke. "I don't want to talk about it, Saeva. Please... just leave me alone. I'm sorry I woke you."
Saeva was about to ask what was going on once more, but he let the words die away soon after he opened his mouth to speak. After a moment of sitting there silently, he got off of her bed, got back into his own, and laid down once again. He thought about the sad, depressed, lonely, and fearful look in her eyes as he drifted back into the realm of dreams.
