It was morning and the group was still asleep until a delicious aroma came rushing in waking them all up immediately. "What's that amazing smell?" America asked in surprise

"Ah I see you're all awake now." Espen says having a apron on as he cooked many meals from many different nations. "I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to take it upon myself to learn the vast amount of recipes Teyvat had to offer." He says

"Wow it all looks so delicious! All for us?" Paimon asked drooling

Espen smiles kindly and chuckles. "Yes, go on dig in." He says

Xiao looks at all this cautiously looking at America hoping she wasn't being bought with all this...America was already eating very happily. "Mmmm..." He hums seeing how happy America was eating.

"Xiao." Espen calls out to him and walks over with his hands behind his back. Xiao glanced over at him with a hum wondering what he wanted. "I heard that you don't like many dishes and only have certain tastes so I decided to make this..." Espen says taking out a perfect plate of delicious almond tofu making Xiao's eyes brighten slightly. "Almond tofu! I heard this is something you like so I decided to make it for you. I completely understand your unique tastes." Espen says smiling and hands the plate over to Xiao and walks away for him to eat as well

While Espen walked away and while Xiao stares at the almond tofu his heart beats were weird. Badum badum..........badum. He felt his heart skip a bit, Espen's smile was so warm and kind, he understood Xiao and made him feel special and cared for. This is the same feeling he gets from America and sometimes even Henrik.
