[ Apart of the host club? ] ; " Oh uhm, I'm not a full time member but I occasionally stop by to host. I mostly do it for Honey - Senpai, " - [ Not an official member but he does go occasionally. ]

[ What type of host are they? ] ; " The caring sweetheart type.. As you can probably tell, Tamaki - Senpai came up with it. " - [ Caring Sweetheart type | mostly known as the Caring type. ]

[ What/Which clubs are they apart of? ] ; " I absolutely love working with plant life, I'm apart of the gardening club. I can't come sometimes due to Tamaki - senpais shenanigans but the leader of the club is really understanding. " - [ The gardening club. | And the host club of course. ]

[ Are they rich or a commoner? ] ; " Oh, uhm. It's a little complicated, my mother and I live in a commonwealth house but my father actually supplies the funds for my school work. Like I said it's,, complicated.. but I'd say we're middle ground. " - [ Neither, middle class. ]

[ What color rose do they have? ] ; " You'd expect it to be a blue but, it's actually a soft yellow. " - [ Light yellow. ]

[ " Why, I love a lot of things.. Like gardening, and hanging out with you 'lot,, despite your crazy antics. " ]

[ Personality] ; " I try to be pretty nice, I believe you should be kind to others. Unless their horrible people, then you can get a pass! "

[ Hanako's a very sweet person,, which he gets from his mother. He's very caring towards others even if he doesn't know them very well. He's very motherly in a way which causes Hikaru and Kaoru to mock him for it. But he doesn't mind, he enjoys being seen as motherly and kind. His kindness is especially shown when he plays with Kirimi and pretends to be a princess just to make her happy, despite being a boy,, which she is still unaware about—.

While Hanako's very sweet he's also very smart and a quick thinker. He's strives to be the best in all he can do to make his mother proud. He's incredibly quick on his feet with solutions for almost any problem the host club gets into. He's actually less of a target for the twins because he manages to outsmart their little pranks nowadays, which they aren't to pleased about.

Hanako is also a very hard worker, while he doesn't show it he tends to spend a lot of his time studying or helping out in ways he can. He honestly doesn't know how to handle having free time so he tends to just help out a lot until he's too tired to move. It doesn't help that he's also a huge people pleaser. But it is a little sweet when he's eyes light up from the smallest bit of praise for helping.

Speaking of praise, Hanako can't handle being flustered all that well. While he can handle friendly praises or gestures, he cannot handle flirting ( well, actual flirting. Not the acting they do when their trying to please the guest. ) . But, it has a to be heavy flirting. Despite being rather smart Hanako can't understand romantic signals unless there shoved right in hand a face. If he doesn't understand then he'll probably take it as a friendly gesture, but if you do lay it down heavy to the point where even he understands, he pretty much turns into a tomato. Hanako cannot handle being directly flirted with ( unless it's from a girl, then he'll probably chuckle but he won't feel anything from it. ). He will irrupt into a bright red blush then and there.

Now, while Hanako's very sweet, he's also human. And just like any other human, he gets angry and stressed just like the rest of us. When Hanako's angry he tends to shut off from the world, getting very quiet to avoid snapping and saying things he'll regret. It's pretty hard to get Hanako genuinely angry, annoyed? Yes, disappointed? extremely easy. But getting him angry requires pushing his buttons until he can't help but snap. If he's continues to get bothered even while shutting himself off he'll snap and scream at whoever's bothering him, he never gets physical but he does get extremely loud when angry. Feeling that if he doesn't yell no one will listen. He always regrets it after and feels horrible but in the heat of the moment he won't care.

While Hanako's very loud when he's angry, he's the complete opposite when he's sad. He tends to almost go completely silent, not talking to anyone or anything. He hates feeling like a burden and talking to others about his problems makes him feel like one. He normally shuts himself in his room, and if he's not home he'll go into a area that's pretty secluded and cry. If anyone asks him what's wrong he'll probably give them a weak small and lie and say he's okay. The only way he'll actually tell you what's wrong is if he trust you with his whole heart and feels safe around you. Otherwise he'll continue to put up his happy act.

Overall, Hanako's very sweet. But, he has his issues like any other person. ]

[ Just like Hanako said, he can be a bit of a doormat. He's very eager to please, even if it causes him to get hurt in the process. He can't handle others being disappointed in him, so he does anything he can to make others happy. It's just feels like there's this part of him that just physically stops him from saying 'no' sometimes. Hanako will never admit it but he hates it sometimes, and wishes he could just be a little more selfish as horrible as it sounds.

Hanako's also very shut off when it comes to talking about being any other emotion but happy, he tends to shut out the people he loves when he's angry or upset. Even if they only mean well, he can't handle bother others about his problems which ties into his people pleaser trait. He of course never talked about this with anyone, not even his own mother. And he plans on keeping it this way.

Hanako also has a problem when it comes to having free time. The problem is, he doesn't like it. He's so eager to please he feels if he's not doing anything then he's useless, he always feels the need to spend his time doing something, anything, helping around his moms shop or just doing his homework. His mother always works so hard so why should he sit around doing nothing with himself? Is how he feels. He sometimes works himself to the point of exhaustion, and only then does he feel like he can actually rest. He hates all these parts about himself but he can never seem to get rid of them. ]

- [ Gardening is a big one for Hanako. He's always had a thing for nature in general and used to help around his mothers flower shop a lot when he was younger. He even joined the gardening club at his school, even if he doesn't actually have a lot of time for it due to the host club. ]

- [ Baking is also something Hanako's gotten better at over the years. He started to learn how to cook when he was young, since it was only him and his mother he wanted to learn how to help her around the house early. While cooking was something Hanako was good at but didn't really connect with, baking was the complete opposite. Hanako's extremely good at baking and does it a lot, which helps when your best friend is the number one cake consumer in all of the world. ]

[ Habits ] ; " Well, I do play with my hair a lot when I'm bored.. at least that's what Haruhi told me. " - [ Hanako plays with his hair a lot when he's bored, which he doesn't notice he's doing unless someone points it out. | He also chews on his lower lip when he's stressed or sad, which causes small cuts to appear on his lips often. | He also does a little nose twitch when he's nervous, either from lying or being flustered. He gets called a bunny a lot because of this. ]

[ Family ] ; " My family is a little,, complicated. Uhm, well I currently live with my mother, but my father is a little to busy to really,, make time for me."

[ Mother ]
[ Kibo Yasuko. | Florist | Kibo is a very sweet woman. She's known as very motherly in her community, helping in others who can't help themselves even if she doesn't have much herself. She met Hanako's father at a party her friend invited her too and they hit it off from there. Sadly, after she had Hanako he never really had time for Kibo or his son, or at least.. that's what he says. It didn't matter to Kibo though, she simply took care of Hanako all by herself and gave him the support he needed. ]

[ Father ]
[ Masashi Yasuko. | Owner of a jewelry company, well,, that's what he told Kibo at least. He actually works along side Kyoya's father. | Masashi is a confusing man. He's never around for his wife and son but continues to provide them the funds to have a good life. Not many understand the man except for his wife herself, when she met him she understood he was never one for commitment, even if he never said so. Masashi himself wishes he could one day come back into Hanako's life and Kibo's as well but he's convinced himself he's not worthy of doing so. ]

[ Pets ] ; " I actually have a siamese cat named Mochi, she's about as old as time but still acts like a playful little kitten. She's also a real sweetheart. "

[ Miss Mochi. | thirteen years | A old but lively Siamese cat. She's always begging for pets or zooming around the house, not mention sleeping on Hanako's face whenever he tries to get rest. ]

[ Friends ] ; " Oh, I consider everyone in the host club my friends. As cheesy as that sounds, haha,, " - [ The host club as a whole are his friends but I'll be naming some reasons why or memories they share. | Also a few added characters— ]

[ 'Honey' - Senpai | Honey and Hanako are a very cute duo. They're popular among the host club when it comes to their 'acts', since they're seen as the innocent ones of the group due to their host types. But even outside of the host club Hanako and Honey are very close due to the fact Hanako sold the flowers for the wedding that brought the Haninozuka family and the Morinozuka family together. They're often seen chatting with each other and giggling about childish nonsense while munching sweets together in the host club. ]

[ Takashi | Of course since Honey and Hanako are close Takashi and Hanako would be pretty close as well. Acts are popular among the two as well, normally having something to do with Hanako dotting on Mori. While the two aren't as close as Honey and Hanako after host club hours it's obvious the two are still friends. Mori tends to include Hanako in his 'babying' when he takes care of Honey, taking care of the both of them. Hanako's mother loves when the two come for dinner. Glad that her son managed to befriend such sweet boys. ]

[ Tamaki | Hanako thought of Tamaki as a little,, weird at first. Hanako went into the the host club without his iconic low ponytailz Instead, having his hair out and falling over his shoulders. He walked into the host club for reasons that will be told in his backstory — for the first time and Tamaki thought he was a girl. He was confused by the blondes extravagant and very extra behavior but eventually found it kind of funny. He couldn't help but snort when Tamaki finally realized the girl he was wooing was a guy all along. The two are good friends now and Hanako sometimes brings up the memory to tease Tamaki.. It usually ends up with Tamaki in the 'depression corner' muttering apologies to Hanako. ]

[ The twins | Most would think Hanako would be absolutely terrified of the twins and their antics but, he's actually really used to them. Hanako knows the twins pride in their mischievous behavior and has fallen victim to many of their pranks. He actually enjoys a lot of them, finding them funny. He's used to a lot of people treating him like glass because of his kind personality, but he doesn't mind a bit of playfulness he every once in a while. But he won't lie, he was pretty terrified of the twins when he first met them, and they knew. Oh they knew. ]

[ Kyoya | Despite Hanako never knowing him before joining the host club, Kyoya knows a lot about Hanako. Which is pretty much normal since Kyoya pretty much has information on everyone in the school but, he knows a lot about Hanako due to the fact his father conducts business with Hanako's. Kyoya's father actually planned on arranging something between Kyoya and Hanako but Masashi hastily declined, not wanting to force his son into his business life. Kyoya never told Hanako any of this however. Kyoya and Hanako are also not the closet out of all the other host, but Kyoya seems to have a fascination on the other male. ( It can be either platonic or romantic: Romantic if Kyoya's Hanako's crush, or platonic if he's not being used as Hanako's crush. If he's not being used as a crush then his fascination is only on Hanako's relationship with his father, or the lack there of. ) ]

[ Haruhi | Haruhi and Hanako have a sibling like relationship. He's normally helping her deal with the hosts stupidity. His house is actually quite close to hers so she occasionally comes over to his house and vice versa, Kibo enjoys having Haruhi around and is actually good friends with her father. Hanako actually understands some of her struggles as a commoner and actually expresses genuine sympathy instead of down playing her feelings or ignoring them or just straight laughing at her problems. They both understand each other well and act like old time friends despite not knowing each other for that long. ]

[ Kirimi | While the 'big brother' incident has long been resolved Hanako still remembers the day the little girl broke in and clung onto Tamaki like a baby koala, and proceeded to cling onto him as well claiming he was a 'princess'. The poor girl was so confused thinking Hanako was a girl, he still doesn't have the heart to tell her. She still comes over and Hanako sometimes looks after her for Nekozawa. But now, instead of the little girl trying to get Tamaki and him to marry she's moved onto her real big brother. Claiming that if they marry she'll have a big sister who's a princess, Nekozawa is honestly more flustered then him whenever the little girl brings it up. Which Hanako finds cute. ]

[ Nekozawa | Hanako and Nekozawa aren't as close as any of the other friendships mentioned but Hanako still enjoys Nekozawa's company. He admires his adoration for his little sister and finds him more sweet then creepy, it's often pointed out and gossiped how Hanako seems to have a 'crush' on Nekozawa, but he only thinks of the other as a friend. Despite Kirimi's best efforts to get them to date. He's sure Nekozawa feels the same way. But despite all this the two still enjoy each other's company, no matter how many rumors spread. ]

[ Enemies ] ; " I don't know if I really have any enemies,, but I don't have the best relationship with a few people. Honey's little brother being one of them,, "

[ Yasuchika | Hanako really tried his hardest to befriend Honey's little brother he really did, but the two never seemed to click. Hanako tried to be kind to Chika but the other simply insulted him and Honey's choice of friends. Hanako doesn't know what he did wrong to Chika but all he knows is when the others name is mentioned he gets a sour taste in his mouth. Hanako keeps this a secret from Honey but he's pretty sure he already knows how much Chika dislikes him. What Hanako doesn't know is Chika's hatred stems from his jealousy of his older brother, angry that he gets a group of friends and he doesn't. He especially hates Hanako due to his kind and dotting nature and how much he cares for honey, he secretly wished he had someone like Hanako that took care of him like he takes care of Honey. ( Satoshi's sobbing rn ) ]

[ Renge | He doesn't hate her or anything, he just finds her obsession with Kyoya really creepy. She also doesn't seem to care about him to much, thinking he's to 'girly' to be her type and how masculine and strong Kyoya is. Hanako finds it a little insulting but he doesn't really take it to heart to much himself, plus.. he isn't really worried about being her 'type'. ]

[ Éclair | Éclair was never a fan of Hanako herself, mostly because she didn't like his relationship with Tamaki, even if there was nothing romantic going on between the two. Hanako also finds Éclair confusing and a bit mysterious in a alerting way, but he knew he hated her when she used Tamaki's mother as leverage to get him to court her. Hanako's face scrunches up in disgust at the mention of her name, he's not even able to eat the sweet without remembering the events that took place. It's best to avoid bringing her up. ]

[ Seika | Hanako's had customers like Seika before, and he felt horrible for what Haruhi had to go through because of the girls jealousy. He knew something was up with the girl when he saw her glaring at Haruhi from a distance whenever Tamaki got close to her. She really reminded him of one of his ex customers so he was glad when she was banished from the host club, he's over the whole ordeal now but whenever he sees the girls in the hallways he simply scoffs and turns his head in disgust. ]

[ Love interest ] ; " L - like who I have a crush on and stuff?,, uh.. well that's n - not important! " - [ Multiple Incase they're your crush or you don't feel like playing them! ^^ ]

[ Takashi Morinozuka | " Mori? Well,, I do think he's a little handsome.. uhm! Don't tell him I said that though,, " | While almost no one expected the two to become a couple, Honey predicted it from the beginning. In fact, he was the one playing matchmaker for the two. He noticed how Mori gazed at Hanako, silent but longingly. And how Hanako got red in the face every time he and Mori did an act unlike when he did acts with the other host. The two are a very cute couple with Hanako always dotting on Mori with an affectionate gaze and Mori staring back with equally as much love in his eyes. Kyoya constantly tells them to get back to hosting because their to busy making goo - goo eyes at each other. Which always makes Hanako giggle. ]

[ Tamaki Suoh | " Tamaki? Well I can say he's pretty weird at times,, but.. there's this charm to him that just makes your heart flutter y'know?.. " | Tamaki and Hanako's relationship really kick started after the Kirimi incident. While Kirimi no longer wants Hanako to marry Tamaki and instead marry Nekozawa, Tamaki couldn't help but feel slightly warm and fuzzy actually imagining a day we're he could marry Hanako and call him his. He especially found it cute how Hanako would play the Princess role for Kirimi to keep her happy. He started being overly affectionate after the incident confusing Hanako, but he couldn't help but feel almost the same for the overdramatic host club leader. What can he say? Tamaki was really cute when he was as affectionate. ( The Kirimi incident won't effect Tamaki and Hanako's relationship if he's your oc's crush or he's not being used as a crush. And we can change it to where Kirimi thought you're oc was a princess/prince instead. ^^ ) ]

[ Kyoya's like a last resort crush honestly— so he won't be used in the roleplay as a crush unless the other two are taken or unusable ]

[ Relationship status ] ; " Oh, uhm.. I'm single at the moment,, w - wait, don't tell me you were planning on asking me out or anything? No? Oh, okay! " - [ Single. ]

[ Past relationships ] ; " Euhm,, that's a touchy topic.. sorry, "

[ Ren Tanaka | Ren and Hanako's relationship was never the prettiest, in fact. It was truly ugly once you realized what was indeed going on in the relationship. To be truthful Hanako never wanted to be in a relationship with Ren, but the other was pushy and Hanako being the people pleaser he was decided to just go along with it and date him. Ren was very controlling in the relationship, never letting him think for himself. It never got physical but it took a toll on Hanako mentally, eventually he told Mitsukuni and Takashi and all of a sudden Hanako never heard of Ren again. He never got a answer from the two host but he had a weird feeling that his father was involved with the whole ordeal as well. ]

[ Aoi Kato | While Hanako was never in a relationship with this girl she definitely thought other wise. She was guest at the host club, Hanako's most regular guest in fact. She simply didn't grasp the fact that Hanako was truly not into women, and he couldn't blain her because he was hosting for women, but he mostly did it to keep Honey company and hang out with the others. She constantly told rumors on how hey were dating but 'Hanako was to shy to admit it' even if it wasn't true. Hanako confronted her about it and she threw a tantrum right in the middle of the host club, she was eventually kicked out and banned for causing damaging school property and harassing a host member. Hanako's unsure were she went but he also hasn't heard of her since despite being in the same school. ]

[ Background ] ; " My childhood? Well,, aha, I don't think it's that interesting.. But If you want to know then I won't mind telling you about it!, "

[ This story isn't really important to the character— it just shows some backstory between his parents, how he and honey became friends, & how he joined the host club.. okay it's a little important— but it's optional whether you want to read it or not. It won't effect the roleplay to much. ]

[ Hanako's mother; Kibo Suzuki, grew up in a middle class home. Her mother and father provided for her, and loved her with all their hearts. And once she was in high school she met a girl by the name of Emi, and they soon became best friends.

A few years later Kibo moved out of her family house and started her florist business. One day she was invited to a rather fancy party by Emi, who grew to be a successful saleswoman. Kibo gladly excepted and got ready for the party. Even if she wasn't that special or all that rich she didn't want to turn down and invite from her dearest friend, and she didn't mind a good party.

Once the day arrived she left to go to the party. She enjoyed her time there, laughing along side her friend and drinking the night away, she was simply catching up when her longtime friend when she set her eyes on the most handsome man she's ever seen. Masashi Yasuko was his name, and he seemed to stop and stare when he saw her. Kibo noticed how he was originally talking to a black haired man with glasses, who seemed to scoff when he noticed who Masashi was looking at and left him alone.

The man approached Kibo, and they started talking, exchanging names before eventually exchanging numbers. And Kibo eventually ended up leaving that that party with a date, which Emi squealed about when she found out.

Kibo eventually called the other and despite being busy Masashi always made time for her. It was so obvious to everyone around them how in love they were. And eventually they got married, and it was the most joyous day of Kibo's life, well, at least she thought it was. Until she found out she was pregnant with a baby boy.

Kibo was over the moon to find out while Masashi looked almost mortified. He stayed with Kibo during the pregnancy and continued to provide her with all the love in the world. But once they baby was born Masashi was no where to be found, Kibo waited hours in the hospital only to go home with no one by her side but her baby boy.

One would think Kibo broke down and cried like any other person would rightfully do, but she knew from the start it would be like this. Ever since Kibo announced she was pregnant she saw this anxious look in her husbands eyes. And she knew he wasn't ready.

Kibo never let this get to her though, she simply raised Hanako by herself. But a few days after Hanako's birth she noticed checks come in the mail from the boys father, and deep down, she knew Masashi still cared.

As Hanako got older he started becoming more capable, no longer relying on his mother and learning how to help himself. He started helping his mother around the shop, and in daily task as well. He never bothered to ask about his father, simply thinking that he just didn't care. But he always heard stories from his mother about how sweet and charming he was, and it made him feel conflicted at times.

He never dwelled on it to much though and simply continued with his life, why worry about someone he never even met when he has him amazing mother beside him that he could be worrying about.

One day while helping at the shop a rather rich looking couple came in, Hanako was working the shop along his mother that day since she sprained her ankle. ( and still refused to lay down— ) it turns out they needed a lot of flowers for their wedding, more then Hanako thought they could humanly supply and they were the only shop that had the flowers they wanted, It seemed almost impossible. But if there was one thing about Hanako, he was going to help no matter what the cost may be.

He managed to scrounge up enough flowers for the wedding and due to his kindness the couple even invited him and his mother to come. Turns out, the wedding was between the Morinozuka's and the Haninozuka family the one that would actually connect the two permanently. Their he met Honey - Senpai, and they ended up becoming friends rather quickly.

And through meeting Honey, Hanako also met Mori as well. He though of the two as best friends and wouldn't trade them for the world.

Later on in his life Hanako started devoting himself to his studies, His mother took note of this and eventually ended up contacting his father about it. Shockingly enough she got a reply back and Masashi was more then willing to provide him with the best school he could find.

Hanako was more then shocked when he found out he was going to Ouran Academy. He was so overjoyed and immediately started preparing for his first day. Which caused his mother to laugh and joke at his eagerness.

Eventually the time came around and Hanako couldn't contain his excitement as he was dropped off. He immediately rushed inside and 'awh'd' at everything he saw, he'd never went to such a fancy school before! It was so exciting.

While walking around the school he noticed a bunch of girls rushing through the halls to get to some sort of club room. He was curious but didn't have the time to peek in before the class bell rung. Eventually he found time to check it out and opened the door the room, he was blinded by roses and.. sparkles? Before being swooped into someone's arms.

He was shocked as some pretty boy kept on referring to him as Princess and flirted with him relentlessly. He was so in shocked he didn't even notice both of his long time friends standing besides the group of pretty boys behind the extra flirtatious blonde.

Honey eventually broke the two up with a loud squeal, jumping on Hanako's arm and swinging him around. The group behind him, besides Mori of course- were extremely confused at the exchange.

It was eventually revealed that Hanako was long time friends with Honey and Mori, and that he was also a man. Which caused Tamaki to sulk as he wailed apologizes at Hanako.

It was also revealed why the swarm of girls were pushing and shoving to get into the club room earlier when Honey told them about the host clubs origins. And Kyoya also pointed out how Hanako barged in a few minutes before opening time, and how he would have to pay or bring in payment to stay, Honey's friend or not.

Eventually Hanako decided to join in on the little club to get more time with Honey, and so a new host type was introduced.

After that faithful day, Hanako's life got a little livelier, and a lot crazier, but he wouldn't have it any other way. ]
