About schizophrenia: Because of it, she sees a girl named Charlie, Charlie looks identical to her except for her red eyes and black as a raven hair. Charlie constantly puts her down, and she finds it harder everyday to tune her out.
Personality: Jana is brave in mostly every aspect. She takes her skateboard everywhere. She is outspoken and sassy. Just be glad she's on the good side. She breaks into places and succeeded into breaking into the White House with one of her old foster brothers Jared. She is secretly insecure and won't answer any questions involving her unless it's a question about her next break in. She never looks in a mirror and you will occasionally see her whispering to herself.
Foster history: she says she has been in a range of homes, she can never get the number right so it shows that she has been in more than she says. She'll mention a few family members. One including Steve who is her current foster brother. She mentions-
Jared: A foster brother who did most things with her, like running off and breaking in to places.
Rose: a stuck up foster sister that tried to kill Jana when she got jealous. She is the reason she doesn't look in the mirror.
Paul: a foster brother that taught her how to skate and other cool things. He's the reason she's so outgoing and brave.
Lastly, Jessie: She was an older girl, and was like a big sister to Jana, she's the reason that Jana is so sassy.

How she fits in to Stranger Things: She arrives at Hawkins sometime during the week everything goes wrong. She was taken in by Steve's parents and only really comes to the house to feed her pet rat and sleep.
Her and Lucas met at the hospital, any way is good as long as it's there. She developed feelings for him and him her but they don't admit until *spoilers* she gets stuck in the upside down, and she first shows herself being scared.
