❀Name❀

Her Lapine name is Hae-Lyn (A waterfall to the sea), or "Lyn" for short. She is usually called by her nickname as her fellow siblings found it difficult to pronounce her full name. As a baby, the little human at her birthplace used to call her "Lady".

She's around a year and a half, despite her maturity. Born at frith down, on winter in a human house. Not being even two weeks old, her mother took them away, in search for a better life, away from those two-legged monsters.

❀Species❀

She's a fluffy cottontail rabbit.

Bigwig (Thlayli).

❀Habitat❀

She used to live in a small farm not too far from Sandleford. As for her kithood, she spent her days in Sandleford, after the great Threarah accepted her and her family into the warren. Once she escaped with Fiver and Hazel's group, she settled with them at the Watership Down.

❀Appearance❀

A young yet mature doe. She's rather tall (not much shorter than Bigwig or Hazel) and fluffy, as well as slim. She's got long ears; one of them is folded while the other stands tall. She's got a blueish gray fur, with darker parts as for her paws, legs and ears. Some white speckles on her forehead and under her eyes are something very characteristic of her. Her eyes twinkle with the white glow of blind eyes, the only blind rabbit of her litter had to be her, much for her disgrace.  She's got a black nose, followed by large white whiskers and trails of deep gray.

Being blind doesn't stop her from being a good fighter; her long limbs are stronger than they appear to be. She might not see, yet she can listen and smell better than other rabbits. She's got a serene expression, and yet, through her mind run a myriad of thoughts that she's just too immersed in to share with anyone.

She's got a short fluffy cottontail, representative of her species.

❀Personality❀

Hae-Lyn is a thoughtful, elegant lass. She's very attentive and trustworthy as well as being gentle and optimistic. She made a lot of friends at Sandleford, such as Fiver and Hazel, Bluebell and even Captain Holly, whom was very close to her.

Despite being easy-going, she really can't stand selfish people, or those who think that they're above everyone and everything. She dislikes being treated as a weakling as for being both blind and a Doe. This lass, although being calm and sweet, has her temper. She usually loses it when discussing with Bigwig or when he acts like, well, Bigwig.

A caring doe, who is protective of the smaller ones, although being a little clumsy and having her head off to somewhere only Frith knows. She usually stumbles upon small and dumb things, such as rocks or roots.

❀Backstory❀

She was born in a small farm, not too far from Sandleford. She was born the only blind doe on her litter. She had a smaller blind brother, a young unhealthy buck that didn't survive much longer than a couple of hours.

Not even being two weeks old, her mother took her and her five siblings off to a better life. They wandered around the snow covered valley for days, until a Homba took their older sister. She fears them more than any other Elil since that day.

Finally, when they were destinated to die from starvation, they arrived at a beautifull warren: the warren of Sandleford. The great Threarah wasn't much friendly, and certainly didn't like them much, but after pleads and begs, they were given a place to stay.

She grew up, healthy and strong. Her now only younger brother joined the Owsla. She suspects Threarah sent him to a mission on his own on purpose, to get him killed. She was right. Now there were only three. Her two older sisters and her.

Once Hazel and Fiver told her about their plan, she instantly was in. She believed in Fiver's visions. Much bigger was her joy when her closest friend, Bluebell, joined the group too.

Much bigger was her disgrace when Bigwig joined (until she started having feelings towards him).

Her sisters never left the warren with her. She doesn't mourn them, as she still hopes they'll someday come back.

-She's got a Silver tongue, capable of convincing whoever she wants.

-She goes tharn when she smells Homba

-She really doesn't fear either Corva, Lendri, Pfeffa nor Yona, yet Hombil make her trembe.

-She smells like flowers.

-She likes to "look up at the sky" at night and stare at Inlé and the stars around her. Feeling the breeze on her pelt makes her feel she's still alive, and that the black rabbit hasn't taken her yet.
