Personality: Not very good at first impressions, Selena always comes off as the goody goody at first glance. The teacher's pet, the goody two-shoes, the snitch. And yes, it's not like she's the opposite, she's still got some of those qualities. But if you were to spend time with her and hang out with her more, you'd realize she's actually pretty fun. Selena has a rebel side, but someone just has to be there to show it to her.

Strengths: She's got a sharp eye for even the smallest of details and has a very good memory.

Weakness: Ever since she was little, she's never been able to keep her hand still. Not in the sense of having to do something, but her right hand never ceases to shake or tremble slightly, and it gets worse if she's nervous.

Likes: Reading, socializing, the colour (or shade) grey, babies/taking care of small children, playing the violin, cooking

Dislikes: Being alone, bright colours, being the center of attention, chocolate, writing, high heeled shoes

Family: Her three older brothers; Alex (Alejandro), Christian and Daniel. Along with her parents, Veronica and Gabriel Santoyo.

Backstory: Selena grew up with a fairly normal childhood; if you don't discount the fact that she was the only girl in the family for a while. It had been 20 long years since someone gave birth to a female, as the rest of her aunts and mother married into the line of Santoyo's. And as a result, she was pretty spoiled.

     Yet for some reason, Selena never acted like a basic rich girl. She never really fit in in the first place, and it soon became obvious that she never probably would. Where Selena should've been partying or hanging out with friends, she spent her time studying and talking to teachers about extra credit. And ever since then she hasn't really changed, but slowly Selena's trying to prove that she isn't just a goody two-shoes, because she's tired of being called one.

Why they joined: It's not her greatest idea, she'll admit, but she sees joining the Selection as a way to prove to people that she's not as sheltered or barely interested in her love life as much as they think.

What they think about the Selection: She's nervous. The tiny bit of excitement that remains inside of her is basically shrouded with the rest of her thoughts that are based on sheer nervousness. This is her first time doing something completely unpredictable and she's really not prepared for it.
