Stevie was laid on her bed cuddling her new fluff baby. She loved Toad, a lot.

"We don't her Toad." Stevie stated as she stroked him,"Who cares if we're a little small?"

"Mrow."

"Exactly, we're both amazing." Stevie smiled.

"Stebie, are you talking to yourself again?" Jay sighed from the other side of the door.

"I'm not talking to myself, I'm talking to Toad!" Stevie huffed, still holding him close.

"So... You're talking to yourself?"

"Just go to bed."

"Whatever you say, Stebie." Jay rolled her eyes.

Stevie heard her footsteps slowly get quieter and she covered herself with a blanket.

"Welcome to comfort cave, Toad." Stevie hummed,"Sweet dreams."

Stevie drifted off to the sound of purring in her ears.

When she awoke, Toad wasn't in her arms. He was sat at the foot of her bed.

"Morning, Toad-" Stevie stroked his back but flinched away.

Something... Pricked her? A few droplets of blood fell from her hand as Toad turned around. Something was... Different...

"Toad?" Stevie raised a brow.

He looked... Redder? She could've sworn he was black and white but now he looked brown and cream... Is he a magic cat?

Toad hissed at her and Stevie noticed his eyes... His normally warm yellow eyes were now red and green, like Christmas lights.

"Jay.." Stevie got up slowly and began backing away,"I think someone's wrong with Toad!"

Toad jumped at her with unsheathed claws and Stevie ducked, turning and running from her room... Right into Jay.

"Jay! Toad is possessed!" Stevie shook her shoulders.

"Hm?" Jay raised a brow, looking over Stevie's shoulder,"Ah, gimme a sec."

Jay got up and causally walked back to her room as Toad pounced on Stevie who in turn, screamed.

"Jay!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Jay sighed, walking over with a small pouch.

She threw some white powder into Toad's eyes and Stevie held him in place as he struggled.

Soon enough, Toad's eyes returned to normal and Stevie let go.

"Damn, infected Toad did a number on your hands." Jay pointed out.

"Thanks Jay." Stevie sighed as Toad curled up on her chest.

"Maybe I should get some more cats." Jay thought aloud.

"Do it. Now." Stevie nodded,"I would like more cats."

"Even after how he messed up your hands?"

"My hands will get better, bring us home more cats."
