Therapy - Jay tries Therapy {☁️+✨+💔}

"Come on, Jay. Please?" Stevie sighed.

"No."

"Just one time?" She tried.

"No!"

"But I've already paid for it." Stevie told her.

"Well, sucks to be you. No!"

Stevie crossed her arms,"I'll hug you!"

The room went silent and eventually, Jay emerged from the couch.

"Fine." Jay groaned, not pleased.

"Jay, I'm trying to help y-"

"I don't care, it's not gonna fix everything." Jay rolled her eyes.

"You don't know until you try it." Stevie sighed.

Jay crossed their arms and walked out, leaving Stevie alone.

Jay was laid down on the chair, reading a book. Her therapist hadn't arrived yet, by now they were five minutes late.

That's when she ran in. A short woman with pale, blue hair and sharp, brown eyes. She was wearing a comfortable-looking, beige jumper and a black skirt.

Jay held in a scoff as the woman sat down and took out a flower clipboard and began speaking.

"Hello there. Jay Young, is that correct?"

"Yep, that's me." Jay sighed.

"You were recommended to be by, let's see... Stevie Hendrix?"

"Mhm." Jay nodded.

"He had your best interest in mind then, now my-"

"Hang on, Stevie's a girl." Jay corrected.

"Right." She nodded slowly,"As I was saying, my name is Dr. Mitsushima, Aiko Mitsubishi."

"Nice to meet you, I guess?" Jay spoke uncertainly."

"Okay Jay, tell me about your childhood. Parents? Any siblings? Schooling?"

Jay sighed, what a great start,"My dad, Tom, left when I was three so he was never in the picture. My mum, Spring, is studying at college, my eldest sister, Sun, works abroad, my older sister, Candle, is a pyromaniac who I'll get back to later, my older brothers, Grayton and Raurie, are a dumbass and a bully respectively and then you've got me."

"I see, quite hectic then, huh?" Aiko asked.

"Very."

"Any other family members? Aunts? Uncles? Cousins?"

"Well, there is my aunt Wynter, she can get very over-protective and my uncle Jason, he's a gentle giant and quite sensitive. They're the parents of my cousins, Cinders and Cassie. Cinders is innocent looking and hates cussing but she will throw things at you and Cassie is like a mini me, pretty much my personality because she was around me so much. Then there's my aunt Summer, quite bubbly and my uncle Wilton, he's often working so I don't see him as much. And finally, my aunt Autumn, she's the cool aunt." Jay explained.

"And coming from a large family, how did that impact you?" Aiko raised a brow.

"There are times when I really felt supported." Jay answered.

"Well, Jay, do you have a relationship?"

Jay paused,"No, not at the moment."

"Why's that?"

"... Because she was murdered." Jay looked away.

"Oh, Stevie did mention that you were survivors of that dreadful Killing Game." Aiko nodded,"How do you think that impacted you?"

"Probably inflicted a whole lot of trauma to go along with the rest of it." Jay sighed.

"Well, that's why I'm here, to help you deal with that. Is there anything else?"

"Well... I've got this, well, 'guilt demon' thing that follows me around. Depending on how I'm feeling, it grows or shrinks and-"

"You're crazy." Aiko stated.

Jay was taken aback,"Excuse me?"

"Hallucinating, you're crazy." Aiko scribbled something on her clipboard,"Take this and get out."

Aiko handed Jay a prescription for some sort of medication that she definitely wasn't going to get. She wasn't crazy! R-right?

**********************************

"Jay, please, it's been two days. Come out, or at least let me come in." Stevie knocked on her door.

No answer.

"Jay, I'm sorry if I did something just please, let me in." She begged her friend.

After a moment, she was yanked inside the room and the door slammed shut behind her.

"Jay!" Stevie went to hug her but stopped, remembering how Jay didn't like that.

"Actually, Stevie I, uh, kind of... Y'know.."

"You want me to hug you?" Stevie raised a brow.

Jay nodded slowly and Stevie didn't hesitate in wrapping her arms around her friend and pulling her in tightly. After a few moments Jay pulled away and looked to the side.

"Stevie... Am I crazy?" She asked.

"What? No! Of course you aren't crazy." Stevie quickly shook her head,"Who on earth told you that?"

"The therapist." Jay answered.

Stevie went silent,"Jay, I... I'm sorry-"

"Don't be." Jay stopped her,"You were just trying to help."

Stevie looked down, rubbing her arm as Jay sighed, sitting down.

"Thing is, I'm driving myself crazy by worrying about being crazy but I'm definitely not crazy right?" Jay asked,"Did that make any sense?"

"Sort of." Stevie nodded slowly, sitting beside her,"Well, I don't think you're crazy."

"Maybe we're both crazy."

"Well, we can be crazy together." Stevie shrugged.
