Time. Time was... It was as if everything was moving in slow motion. Kyra's eyes were wide with terror as soon as it happened.

"Juli!" She cried out, hot tears welling up in her eyes.

A bludger hit her girlfriend in the head and... She fell from her broom, falling down to the ground below. Kyra left her position by the hoop and soared down after her but stopped, wincing as she heard a crack.

Despite her protests the game was not halted and Kyra had no choice to play on, although she wasn't the same throughout that game. If Alex hadn't caught the snitch they certainly would've lost...

As the game ended, Kyra landed and immediately began to hurry towards the Hospital Wing.

"Oi, Berrinski!"

Kyra sighed and turned around, brushing a few of her stray brown curls out of her face. Alex.

"Alex, I don't have time to talk about this-" Kyra shook her head.

"The hell happened out there!?" Alex yelled at her, shoving her.

Kyra stumbled back and rubbed her arm,"I don't know if you noticed but Juli got hit! She's unconscious!"

"So what? You nearly lost us the game!" Alex shouted.

"I don't care about the game! My girlfriend is hurt-"

Kyra was cut off as Alex pushed her once more, causing her to nearly fall over. That's when two people appeared out of the corner of her eye.

"You want to fight my cousin!? No, you fight me!" Kevin stepped forward, shoving Alex back.

"You tell him, Kev." Katelyn crossed her arms before turning to Kyra,"Go. See Juli."

Kyra quickly nodded and ran. She didn't even get changed out of her Quidditch robes, she ran straight to the Hospital Wing.

She was out of breath as she arrived. Kyra looked down at her arms. Shaking. She was shaking. Juli... Juli was laid on the breath, breathing slowly and unconscious.

"I'll leave you two alone." Madame Pomfrey nodded before walking off to her office room,"Visiting hours are over soon."

"Juli... I'm so so sorry..." Kyra's tears began to fall,"I didn't help you.."

Kyra took Juliana's hand and held it against her cheek. Her eyes closed and she began to picture her. She pictured them. Together.

Kyra flinched as all of a sudden when... Juli's hand twitched, her fingers moving slightly.

"J-juli?" Kyra choked back her tears.

Juli's nose wrinkled and her eyes slowly blinked open, her muscles tensing. She then looked around slowly, figuring out where she was.

"Ky? What happened?" Juliana then hissed, clutching the back of her head,"Man, my head hurts.."

"You got hit with a bludger..." Kyra looked down,"And I was really worried and I almost lost us the game and now Alex is mad at me and-"

A kiss. A kiss interrupted Kyra's rambling. It was warm, warm and reassuring. When they parted, Kyra smiled happily and leaned into Juli's hand.

"Well? Did you happen to hear what's wrong with me?" Juli raised a brow.

"Mild concussion, broken ribs and... You've fractured something in your other arm because of how you landed." Kyra told her.

"So that's why that's there." Juli looked down at her other arm, nodding slowly,"Well-"

"Ms Berrinski, it's time to leave." Madame Pomfrey called to her.

Kyra got up slowly, sniffling and rubbing her eyes.

"I'll be right as rain in no time." Juli assured her, kissing her hand,"Now you better go rest, I'll get Katelyn to tell me if you don't."

Kyra chuckled softly,"Of course, babe."
