Jay's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. Ray had been acting odd for a while and so she decided to sneak into his room when he was out with Stevie and inadvertently discovered his... His murder plan.

Ray was first going to murder Kirari because of her protagonist personality and then... He would lure Terishi and Akira to the crime scene and murder Terishi as well, using Akira as a means to dispose of the evidence.

Why would he leave something like this out in the open? Did he want this to happen? Nevermind, Jay needed to stop him... At any cost...

Armed with the closest object they could find, a tie, Jay lay in wait. She had hidden herself in Ray's room.

"Alright, I'll see you in the morning. Good night, ma chére." Ray hummed.

He was back... Perfect. As the door closed and Ray walked past, Jay jumped out and swiftly pulled the tie against Ray's neck.

Of course he struggled and fought back but eventually, the boy fell limp. Jay released her grip on the tie and took out a knife. Either Ray was faking it or he was just unconscious, there was no way he died that quickly.

And so Jay kneeled down and gripped Ray's shoulder firmly before repeatedly plunging the knife into his chest over and over. Why... Why wasn't he fighting back? Why was he just letting her kill him!?

Now covered in blood and with a body in front of her, Jay let out a sigh of relief. Terishi was safe now! With a smile on her face, she happily left the room.

"Ray, it's time to get up!" Stevie knocked on the door.

No response.

"Come on, Ray. I know you don't sleep, just answer the door." She crossed her arms.

Again. No response.

"Ray?" Stevie pressed her ear against the door.

No noise. No response.

"Ray... You're scaring me. Please just open the door." Stevie pleaded with him.

Nothing.

Stevie squeezed her eyes tight as she pushed open the usually locked door. Please Ray, please don't be... Dead.

Laying on the floor in front of her, Ray was stabbed to death. Stevie froze. She looked down at the body of her former love and fell to her knees.

She didn't cry. Not yet, at least. With Ray gone... She needed to be a lot stronger. Oh, who was she kidding? She wasn't smart or strong like Ray was? Why is she still here? Why can she not have good things?

That's when Ray's notebook toppled off of the desk, landing open on the page about... His murder plot? He was going to go behind her back... And kill two of her friends?

This could be a... Revenge, of sorts? Maybe they found out what he was going to do and so killed him first? That... That actually sounds plausible! Maybe she wasn't as dumb as she thought.

"Stevie? You in?" Terishi asked, knocking on her door.

Both of them were members of the Future Foundation, alongside Akira, Scott, Kirari and her brother Daiko. Dimitri wasn't an official member yet, he was still being rehabilitated.

After what happened with Ray and Jay, Terishi had become quite close with Stevie since, well, they both missed their partners dearly.

"Yeah, I'm here." Stevie sighed, opening her door,"What's up?"

"I came for our scheduled session of making each other feel better." Terishi told her, forcing a wrapped box into her arms.

"Huh? I didn't schedule-"

"I did." Terishi pointed,"Now open the box with me!"

Inside was a matching pair of onesies, fox one's since they were Teri's favourite, a bunch of chocolate that she stole from Daiko and a cozy blanket that definitely wasn't stolen.

"Teri, I-"

"Hush!" Terishi tossed the blanket onto her friend,"I am making this your day off. Sleep."

"I can't sleep, I have so much work to do." Stevie shook her head and tried to escape.

"No!" Terishi recovered her,"Just make Scott do it."

"You trust Scott to do my work?" Stevie questioned.

"Well, no, but- Nevermind, we need a day off. Let it happen." Terishi crossed her arms.

"Fine." Stevie gave in.

"Yay!" Terishi cheered.
